How do you get piercing training when you already have a tattoo license ? If Shops say they don’t do apprenticeships?

This is not proper aseptic technique. I don't care how long you have been piercing. Once you open the package you can not touch anything that was inside that package until you change gloves. Also stop putting stuff on the dental bib leave it on the "sterile surface"..inside of the package.. if you are going to give out info then give out better info.

Dudes a punk!
I’m going to get back in the shop after taking a LOOONG break working in EMS and Fire. Basically Starting over, I was looking to become re-educated and found your videos while searching the tube. I’ve seen so much complacency when it comes to prep, hygiene and sterilization/ sanitation in EMS and in shops so just saying Thank you for the videos, these are much appreciated.

I’ll keep checking these out. Other than locally at a shop do you have any direction on supplemental books and or courses online? Any additional resources are much appreciated!

Up the punx! Cheers!

Is using an autoclave more sustainable that prepackaged materials?

My piercer didn’t go over anything she just stuck needles in my... um...little guy, that’s why I watch your videos. She also used a sharpie, don’t know if that was good.

I'm so glad you made this video and thank you! I had an apprenticeship but myself and many other who are passionate about piercing and the industry have been dislocated and ronin. I get that this isn't a tutorial by any means but the people subscribed here, looking/digging, reading 4-5yr old blogs from Jef Saunders, watching Luis Garcia's piercing videos at 1/4 speed, old modified world videos, ordering(and pre ordering) The Piercing Bible, dreaming about going to an app conference and classes are the ones that are going to be taking something away from this. I got cut short and trying to claw my way back into the industry with some guidance (I'm a technical ruler and calipers person and the guidance is more from a feels/looks right after 10yrs of experience kind of person) so these videos do help a lot for someone in my rare position.

Knowledge, techniques, and passions are shareable... skill is learned, corrected, and practiced.
