I’m here to say again we shouldnt buy Brantwaite, our rcb/lcb have to be good with the ball and great Progressive passers he’s not, even before this game I’ve said he makes too much mistakes and even tho he’s quick his movement is like Maguire. We could have gotten Pacho, there’s better lcb for cheaper; hincapie would be my fav as he already plays in 3 also can play lwb he’s 6’0 extremely technical and aggressive being South American , then there’s straightforward ones like Inacio, Murillo at Forrest is having a great season and is also a good option

I'm so happy man. Zirkzee was doing some brilliant link-up plays and his passing was good. His pressing wasn't great at times but his overall play was great. This felt a bit like 22/23 Rashford and I'm all for it.

Amad continues to impress. EtH needs to answer on why this guy wasn't playing. I honestly was part of the group who wanted him in one of the 10s but after this game, I get it. He's more vital and influential in the RWB position.

Another Onana and Mazraoui masterclass as well.

Another thing I'm happy with is we got to rotate and Amorim has been making excellent subs.

Our midfield performs so much better when Ugarte is in it. Looking forward to him getting time with Mainoo.
Amad’s oop/defensive side barely makes sense to me. He looks so slight. Wing back is such a creative spot in RA’s system. If/when we can upgrade lwb, especially with Davies it will be a serious upgrade.
RA is a real forward whisperer.
Under Rudd and Rubin almost everyone has seen a significant uptick in form.

Feels like Amorim already understands each individual player way more than Ten Hag ever did- he knows how to play different players together in different positions and get the right balance, as well as who is simply not up to playing in this system.

2 things first time in amorims tenure that nacho was dropped and the difference in threat up top was better

Really enjoyed the game today after the first 25 minutes. Great for Rashford and Zirkzee to score twice. I thought they were really good. Amad unbelievable. Crazy to think that ten Hag watched training and thought yeah I'm going to play Antony instead of Amad. Big test on Wednesday but I'm looking forward to it!

I am strongly against Branthwaite to Man Utd. He is nowhere near the level needed. If we have to get an English CB, let's just go get Marc Guehi. He fits better and yet another captain material and role model. Maybe not a fashion model tho...

Dalot has played a ridiculous amount of football over the last 15 months. He is jaded and wing back is an unforgiving position. We need Yoro back desperately to free Masroui to take over the wing back role.
