Unfortunately there isn't much I can do to improve the animation/mouth syncing, if I had acess to the body double footage before they applied the CGI, deep fake would be a definite improvement.
Hopefully they release some behind the scenes footage eventually so I can give that a try.
Also, I only had 4 days spare to do this deepfake before the holidays, I'm not 100% happy with the quality but here it is anyway.
Enjoy!
Hahahahahaha been watching everything of your videos! 👏
ОтветитьThe mouth and lips while talking are better with disneys but everything else about the shmook deepfake is better
ОтветитьCame cause I found out you made the cgi. Seeing Luke looking so good made me emotional thank you.
ОтветитьSo good!!! The people working at Disney suck
ОтветитьWho ever made this needs to be hired to do this as a career this is amazing
Ответитьno different
Ответитьhm... not much difference. In fact, there much worse parts...
ОтветитьThe original his eyes are set too far apart
ОтветитьSince they hired you for Boba Fett, I hope they give you all the original body double footage of this so that you can redo it and they can update it, I've always hated the janky version they have right now
ОтветитьPlease deepfake the original Gozer (Slavitza Jovan) into Ghostbusters Afterlife.
ОтветитьShould of hired you to do Harrison ford in the new Indiana jones movie
ОтветитьEs müssen umbedingt Gesetze gemacht werden,wo das alles geklärt wird.Schauspieler Rechte!!!Copright etc.
ОтветитьBro...I hope Industrial Light & Magic is reaching out to you. Cause you could DEFINITELY give them quite a few pointers. Or they should be at the very least offering you full-time employment.
I don't know if it's their lack of technology, lack of tools, lack of time, lack of budget or maybe all of the above. But they need to be taking pages outta YOUR playbook when rendering these actors back into a youthful appearance.
ILM's Indiana Jones 5 effects were not very impressive, in terms of making Harrison Ford look like he did in the 80s. In fact, I was quite disappointed. Certain skin textures, lighting in the orbit/eye socket felt very doll-like or shark-like, like there was no REAL life behind them. And any sudden movement just bogged it up even moreso.
OH OH OOOH!!!! Not to mention in Rogue One, when they brought back Peter Cushing, which was monumental for the film series, it could've been soooo dope & such a SPECIAL moment...buuuut....they dropped the ball on that one too.
I will give ILM credit on the voice tech. Cause when I 1st heard Grand Moff Tarkin speak for the 1st time in damn near 40 years, the hair stood up on the back of my neck. And i don't have a very hairy neck.
Would loooooove to see you fix that Peter Cushing scene.
But for real for real, whatever your technique is, it should be at the very minimum, the standard method for youthful rendering in all CGI across the gamut of all films in Hollywood.
In fact, don't stop what you are developing either. Keep going. You might discover even more techniques. And You might set the level so high, you may very well become the pioneer that sets off the next evolution of CGI. Bravo good sir. Bravo.👏👏👏
Give us MORE!!!!
Show these rookie digital artists how a real G does it.
Sadly, unless the underplate cgi face was removed, there's literally nothing that can be done to improve upon shitty cgi movements with a program that's designed to be perfectly replicating the face that's underneath.
ОтветитьI HOPE AND PRAY that since they are putting Mando Season 1 and 2 out on 4K Disc at the end of the year that they are doing a THOROUGH remastering and revising of this scene to improve it and make it reach the highest standard possible.
ОтветитьDisney + version should update & use this new & improved version for the episode.
ОтветитьNooo grogu 😭😭😭
ОтветитьDisney you have to hire this guy
ОтветитьIts only after you watch this that you can tell even the voice is terrible. Like before I knew it's not his face but now that I see it is his face, its not even his voice
ОтветитьHope you are doing great. Just rewatched some scenes from Luke and I just have to thank you for bringing our childhood hero back in such a good quality, cheers!
ОтветитьDamn looks way better 🙌
ОтветитьThey look exactly the same.
ОтветитьI hope Lucasfilm make a remastered version in the near future. The digital de-aging in the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny trailer looks so convincing.
ОтветитьWhy didn't they fix it post-posted?!?
ОтветитьHey I know it's been out for a while and idk if you still even read these things, but thank you. Growing up watching the prequels and original trilogy repeatedly, I was always fascinated with the story of Luke Skywalker. Seeing him in the Mandalorian season 2 finale, I was completely blown away because I just never expected Luke to be the one to save the group. Hearing about your work AFTER watching episode 6 of The Book of Boba Fett, I just wanted to say: Thank you. You brought a great advancement to deepfake techniques to the largest company in the world. Your attention to detail truly revived the greatest hero in the history of cinema. I hope you can share your talent with Disney or continue working closely with them in future Star Wars projects because, quite frankly, Mark Hamill will never give up the role of Luke Skywalker until he dies. If you or anyone within the corporate side of Disney and LucasFilm are reading this: Please use Luke Skywalker sparingly. Make him the legend that the galaxy far far away comes to know. His story between Episodes 6 and 7 should span throughout Star Wars media.
Ответитьwonderfully done, even the actor looks like young luke.
ОтветитьSuperb job! That really looks like young Mark Hamill himself. That was incredible work from a single person!
ОтветитьDude, now we need they improve the original version.
ОтветитьJust in 2 years the tech has gotten so much better than this. Insane time we live in
ОтветитьSo much better. Nice job
ОтветитьDisney is employing the wrong people
ОтветитьDisney should employ you!
ОтветитьI actually didn’t even think it was CGI when I first watched….
ОтветитьThe giveaway is the somewhat lifeless eyes.
ОтветитьChewbacca did the original version.
ОтветитьDudes deepfake went as far as to add reflection shine in his eyes
ОтветитьJust came back to call you a DOG.
ОтветитьI'm impressed with the vocal synthesis and animation *each*, but come on Disney, the lipsync is terrible??
Ответить"Are you a Jedi?"
"I am THE Jedi."
Looks more real than Mark Hamill himself. 😆
ОтветитьHis voice was digitally altered in the film to sound younger. And to me it sounds obvious
ОтветитьDude did such a good job Lucasfilm said "Well done. You got a job."
Ответитьnow Shamook is working for the studio now, will they replace the original scene with the upgraded version? I certainly hope so
ОтветитьWhen I first saw this scene, Luke's face looked off, like it was rushed or unfinished. This is so much better. Hope they use your work to fix this in the actual episode.
ОтветитьThe Orphan Firstkill .
ОтветитьIf they ever remaster these shows, i hope that’s one of the things they fix as well as cad bane
ОтветитьAny way you can redo the Neville Longbottom broomstick scene from Sorcerer's stone?
ОтветитьDo Mitch McConell as Chancellor Palpatine
Congrats on joining Lucasfilm
