Girls Keep Disappearing in East Tennessee... What's Going On?!

Eastern Tennessee is gorgeous as far as the views go. I think y'all are doing great. I just wish the people that are missing weren't missing

I noticed this around the time summer wells went missing and looking up her case on namus.There are more missing teenagers from Tennessee than any other state and it a pretty big difference in the number of teens missing in Tennessee than other states.

You should look into how many people have just vanished in Scott county TN. Especially up near the KY state line on hwy 27.

In Campbell County there has been like 5 grown men go missing for a few years. Never found there one minute gone next. I think for the girls trafficking is possible but what I think about all the time as well is trafficking is so bad now that if there is a Serial K:ller they may get away with it due to everyone saying oh it’s prob trafficking and cops not finding anyone to pursue cause it could be a by chance type of thing or something! We don’t hear about the Serials now like we did in the 80s and 90s and I think it’s not cause they just get caught before it goes that far due to new tech and stuff.

Maury ange martinez went missing in Georgia and her remains were found near Chattanooga this year, 3 men in jail for charges related to it. My heart goes out to all of these families. ❤

If you see something - say something! A former neighbor couldn't sleep at night, she would walk the floors all night long. She started noticing a van coming to a townhouse near her. She saw the van unload a bunch of mattresses and groceries. Then, she didn't see the van for a week or more. She saw no activity at the townhouse during the day, only at night. Living near a big university, she wrote it off as a bunch of students rented one townhouse for the semester/year. A week or so later, one night, at about 3am, she heard a bunch of doors shutting. She went to the window to see 2 vans, one in the driveway, and one had pulled around to the back of the townhouse. A few minutes later, both vans sped out of the street. She said she watched as the vans left and could see from the streetlights that the vans were full of people. At this point, she called the local police station and told them what she had seen. The next day, the police came to investigate - there were 2 men in the townhouse - one of the men shot at the police when they came to investigate. A SWAT team was called in and one of the men was shot and later died. The other man was arrested. There was NO mention of this in the local news or in newspapers. She later called the police dept. and they told her the situation had been taken care of and they appreciated her calling in the tip. She later "heard" the house was rented through VRBO and more than likely the 2 men were trafficking people.
As Jen's reading this week says - always be aware of your surroundings.

So many aspects of the lives of our young men/women need attention! I am brought to tears hearing about the dangers exposed to them (drugs, trap houses, sex trafficking and the like). I’m a mom to an adopted (open) daughter, from birth. Now she is 13yo. All that I can do is educate her, pray and try to protect her. The world isn’t the same & that is scary! Praying that the missing are found and Government opens their eyes and minds to see! We need intervention, information & protection. First day of fall in Arkansas was so hot. jen I absolutely love fall too can't wait to put the fall decorations out. Alot of human trafficking going on everywhere. Trafficking for sex,organs,and other crazy stuff. Our whole country is so messed up it's extremely sad.

Think I read somewhere that Tennessee currently has nearly 700 missing persons. (Children and Adults) I think the 8th most of all states in USA. That’s an astronomical amount.

A girl went missing from Nashville last month(Antioch, I believe) she was just found (her remains) on a property outside Lebanon, TN

I live in Johnson City and its really crazy, but I dont watch alot of mainstream news, but when i did it was like they would talk about a missing child and then never really follow up on it. Wheni was doing research about Summer Wells i notice how many children, really sdults too that go missing in this area. The thing is this area has always been s safe haven for criminals. Johnson City is nicknamed Little Chicago. There was a bar downtown called capones. Now it stret gangs coming here when the heat is on them in these larger cities they come here. I dont know if the police are involved but i tell ya what is crazy. Ronnie Lawson's son being convicted as a pedophile getting 20 years and doing 1? Nobody has even run against him in years...always made me wonder!

I'm from Johnson City... well Carter Co. now, but I did the Lost Cove hike with VERY LITTLE INSTRUCTION AND I THOUGHT ID DIE! 😅 I came in from walking the Railroad tracks up... the longest most terrible part plus trains came way more frequently than I thought! I'm 5ft 3 and my gait is not made for that. And all I knewnwas there's a terrible trail head off to the left after a little bridge! Geeze this was so sketchy! Snakes love the tracks I guess bc we ran into babies and that was heart stopping!! There was no cell service and it would have been terrible to drag someone down those tracks! Then it's the most insane incline all the way up! I do not recommend this hike to many bc most people aren't crazy enough to make it!! There was a Lil hustle right down from where we parked... this was b4 I had kids and I'd prob stroke out trying to do that again! I had spent quite a bit of time in Worleys cave prior to tha, so thank God I was used to a heavier pack. I miss the hiking days! And I'll always keep up with the Summer Wells case and pray she's found!

Powerade with electrolytes is just as good as Gatorlyte and cheaper. I can tell a BIG diff since I’ve been drinking them. I work outside and I used to get cramps that would bring me up out of a dead sleep but now I hardly have ANY cramps. I also take 1 potassium pill a wk. With that being said, my Dr said my potassium intake was dead on what it should be.

I live in Johnson City…outskirts of Kingsport. The dudes in van were asking the girls questions about family and stuff to see if they had a family, family that cared about them (no matter what), and to what extent they thought they would be looked for…trafficking. As bad as I hate to say it, my son has lived in several of those trap houses bc of drugs and he told me about an incident similar to this one. He is now in recovery in Nashville and has told me about how bad Nashville/ Memphis area is on trafficking. He said his own counselor has told them to be careful walking to and from their classes and other places they go. He said they are mostly after girls but will grab guys, as well. We have so many higher ups that are in on the BAD STUFF that goes on bc $$$…the root to ALL evil.

Pastors are part of the sexual abuse and trafficking rings because they think that just asking god for forgiveness right after the incident.
