Is there a way for beginners to practice getting better because everytime I play i always get smacked, I dont know I im doing combos or potions or upgrades wrong

Does anyone know a solution? I have that weird "waiting on game data" whenever I launch Smite. Sometimes it worked and sometimes I need to wait around 15 mins out and after that I can't queue for any matches, even tutorials. I love this game but I can't play whenever I want to play. I found out that lots of ppl have this issue but unfortunately there is no specific solution for that. May be cuz of my slow Internet??

I played my second conquest game ever and had no idea what I was doing. I went hel mid, against an anubis. He would hit me with one ability and I would be dead. I went 0 and 15. Im not a new smite player, I'm a new conquest player.

Man I just got this game yesterday, I have 4 or 5 games to my name and they’re all losses with my K/D being soooo bad I don’t understand. Maybe it’s because I’m on Switch or maybe it’s because I don’t know what that whole rune thing is in the left corner or maybe I’m just doing the builds wrong. AHHHH WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR ME

All im understanding is you just press random ability buttons and hope you get kills, I dont see where the strategy comes in, when someone is low they just run away, I wanna get better but it makes no sense

thanks. picked up the game, but can't seem to understand when to do camps, witch i noticed is a big thing. Also, i used a hunter as support and 100% destroyed the enemy team all game. So is that a thing or something i just derped out while doing?
