great video, thanks so much
Ответитьfor the fan the middle screw is too tight for mine and it’s starting to get rounded any advise ?
ОтветитьI did that and now my Xbox doesn't work lol
ОтветитьOne alternative method that I used after opening the back of the series x was blowing the vents with my lungs because I did not have air in a can or his air tool from the video. Yes it's a bit of a caveman method in my opinion but I was able to clean the fans this way and not struggle too much besides coughing some from the lint and in some of the deeper places that I couldn't blow I then used q tips to clean the tighter areas that are harder to reach. The same methods also work for people who still have their Genesis and SNES cartridges and are trying to simply clean them.
ОтветитьThe way they have the Xbox Series X set up is so stupid. It couldn't have been so much Subway.
Ответитьty brother, i had a birds nest in my console and now its all clean
ОтветитьWhy the frick is that one screw so much smaller?
ОтветитьBud, use a small shop vac with a brush end on it that was you’re suckin up all the dust instead of it dropping back down in or getting all over everything, they even make mini hoses for “electronic” work. It works better than anything & ive been doing it for yrs.
ОтветитьAmazing tutorial mate, thank you so much! I'm gonna try it
ОтветитьThat middle screw of the fan broke my screwdriver and also i think it's stripped. I literally had to try all my force which led to it. Still didnt get the fker off now i prolly never will. Looks like ill need a method to clean fan without taking it out.
ОтветитьCan I just blow everything with compressed air ?
ОтветитьMy xbox is one year old no issues. How often should i clean?
ОтветитьAnd what screw driver do you use?
ОтветитьI cant remove the little plastic think at the bottom
Ответитьanyone can do it, as long as you have a torque 8 screwdriver and a prying tool.
ОтветитьPerfect video - my xbox kept shutting down as it was overheating, followed this tutorial and the system runs like a dream. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьLuv the vid
ОтветитьWhat do I do i stripped the middle screw on the fan because it was too tight
ОтветитьWill this make my Xbox quieter because it’s been so loud randomly
ОтветитьI got mine launch day and haven't cleaned it yet although I want to try. Good thing my console is not loud and I have not had any overheating messages.
ОтветитьEvery time I watch one of your videos I cringe. This time it’s the fan plug. They are in there pretty tight and you should never pull a plug out by the cord😩😩😩
ОтветитьWhy do i need the hairdryer? Is it necessary
ОтветитьThanks a lot Mick! Turned my Xbox from a jet engine to a stealthy ninja :)
ОтветитьI have a switch for my fan to be on or off will it still cool if I have the fan off?
ОтветитьHey what do I do if the person who owned it previously stripped the screw ?
ОтветитьThe middle screw of the fan is so tight I can't get it out
ОтветитьOmigosh thank you!!! I was hesitant to open the console but I was getting "overheat" messages while gaming and so I decided to follow your steps. The console is now as quiet as a kitty whereas it was like a jet engine ready to take off prior to cleaning.
Ответитьis there like a heatsink inside of it that we should be dusting? or is it just the fan?
ОтветитьDude bro!!! Video was great, had my Series X cleaned and back to near mint in no time! Thank you for the video!
ОтветитьWhat would you use instead of that pry tool, I don't have one?
ОтветитьI Stuggle unplugging the fan
ОтветитьI am confused I have replaced my Xbox series x fan with a new one from ifixit and the new one won’t spin. I don’t think that the fan is even getting any power. What do I do?
ОтветитьI need facts I sprayed my Series x with condensed air WITHOUT the straw you put into it and some liquid like substance got in it also some white stuff got on it to (cause I was spraying it close to the console my question is should I be worried about
Lower frame rate
Lower graphics and resolution
Increased load/ download speeds
Who the f cleans there console with a dustpan brush that u use on the floor. Fk that
ОтветитьMick I'm having trouble removing the plastic conector from the fan. I can't get it off. Any suggestions please?
ОтветитьI like to fully submerge mine in a tub of soapy water then turn it on and leave it run for a few minutes. It cleans the system right out. Then let it drain and good as new.
ОтветитьOh my, i glanced in the top one day nd was....hhoollyyy schmokes! Lol ive always been afraid to open every console ive had bc i didnt wanna destroy sumthin. Im more willing to try after ur video, thanks man
ОтветитьIs it normal to have a screen flicker while playing games with the xbo
ОтветитьEasiest disassemble i ever done compared to PS3, Wii etc. Greatful MS acknowledged the need for us to do this and designed this console with this in mind. Even original Xbox was a nightmare to open up. Anybody know how hard Xbox One S is? Ours is due for a cleaning.
ОтветитьGreat
Thank you from Raleigh NC 💫🏆✊
I can’t get the bottom sticker off
ОтветитьThanks for this I must admit I struggled with the large screw on the fan (middle one) and couldn't undo it probably cos my torx was a cheapy one lol but managed to clean it without removing the fan and now it's as quiet as a mouse so big thanks once again
ОтветитьCan I use any type of torx please let me know
ОтветитьI like your voice bro no homo sound cool
ОтветитьMy fan is very silent even with some dust
ОтветитьIf it had extream dust wouldn’t the fan be going super loud
ОтветитьMine doesn’t get dust on the fan blade it’s all on the side and not directly on the fan blade that where’s its sticking at it
ОтветитьThank you Mick. My Xbox was constantly crashing and overheating and running so loud I could hear it over the tv at any volume lower than 80😂 since cleaning it’s so quiet I can’t hear it at all and it no longer crashes.
