How to setup Skyrim for Modding. Cleaning Master files & Essential Mods

Hey thanks brother this is so useful. I did not have to manually clean the Dawnguard ESM but I have an error showing up in LOOT with the SurvivalMode ESM and have no idea how to clean it... Didn't find anything on the web for that. If you have any idea, please help! Thanks.

Cleaning masters? You get to have the fun part of 4 hours to reinstall the game, because you just invalidated your CRCs (SHA256).

I have been trying to mod Skyrim for a month now but I kept have issues with skse App Library.

I've heard that cleaning master files is not necessary anymore for Special Edition, especially Anniversary Edition, because the game is set up for the post-DLC structure.

this is very impressive However ... I need to know if the same procedure is applicable to oldrim .. there are certain must have mods that are not available for SE ... such as wobums the horse among others so I still like to play original skyrim if any ... If I knew how to port those mods myself .. The I would play skyrim SE but I'm not going anywhere without my horse ... if you used this mod you would know why I like him so much ..!

U know maybe some optymalization mods? For better performance and more fps

When your cleaning files you have like 5 to clean, do i have to clean all the extra stuff that comes withAE edition too? Or should i patch downgrade?

Wait I heard in another tutorial video that the AE version isn't an upgrade and 90% of mods are still being run in it, can I still use SE mods for the AE build?

Does this method work if you have the game installed through the Epic Games Launcher instead of steam? i assume its just a different file path

Hello, thanks for the guide dude. I saw in another video that it's way better to downgrade Skyrim to a previous version because in the newest update "80%" of the previous mods don't work. Is this true?

Quick useful guide really well done, there have been some talks between modders and some says it's not longer necessary to clean master files.

first time installing it after being on the fallout games since 2012. is it mandatory to install it a 2nd time if i never actually had it installed before.said the word install way too many times but ok
