I have NO idea who you are, except by this video, which I found looking for mulberry tea advice. Your personality has such a "clean" sense to it, in how you talk, in the love for life you express, the simplicity and elegance in your thinking that comes out in words. I have very strong intuitive gifts and, as I was so touched by the gentility in your being, I was hoping to myself that, "Gee, I hope Wendi is as happy and peaceful in her real life, her inner life, her relationship life." Why? Because of how you were, on the day you made this video, you presented not only your subject with elegance and loaded with information, but your Spirit came through. I am a historian of violence. God bless you, whether you believe in a deity or not.... John
ОтветитьJust realise how long i have been followed you. Watching Ahao grow up, Dawang be fatten up and your baking skill level up over years has been one of my great joys.
Ответитьhi wendi

I love white mulberry leaf tea. I find it very relaxing when I'm feeling grumpy. I'm jealous of anyone who has a tree!
ОтветитьI have a mulberry tree and after seeing your video I picked alot of leaves and put them in a brown bag, they dried but the leaves aren't green anymore after drying. they turned dark. are they still ok to crush and use for tea? My tree produces dark mulberries. I read an article that a Congressman's wife drank white mulberry tea and it killed her. I want to be sure that my leaves are still ok to use. Your dried leaves are still green but mine are not. If they don't dry green, should I throw them out?
ОтветитьYou didn't mention to various cultivars of your three mulberry trees, only that one of them produces white berries. I'd be interested in learning about which varieties you have and what you like or dislike about each of them. Can the leaves from any kind of mulberry tree be used for tea, or are some cultivars better than others? Lastly, where did you get that AMAZING large flat drying basket??? That's amazing! Thanks so much for sharing.
ОтветитьHave been eating mulberry leaves in the summer and drinking tea in the winter for 3 yrs big reduction in triglycerides and ldl cholesterol

ОтветитьOne site gave the nutritional breakdown of neem, moringa, and mulberry leaves. Not only is mulberry better than those, it's one of the most nutritious vegetables period. Because of that I make it into a powder and add to rice cooking water, soups, and stews. You could probably get a lot of the benefits and a mellower flavor just by cooking with the tea.
ОтветитьI am really happy that I found your channel! I have a couple of "wild" mulberry trees grouwing near my fence, and I've collected fruit from them, but I've learned so much more from this video. I hope I have tons of videos to catch up on since this was posted 2 years ago. Thank you, Wendi!

ОтветитьHow many leaves to use per day?
ОтветитьI am just discovering how much health benefits Mulberry fruits and leaves have. There are a few trees in my neighbor hood that are loaded right now. I have been picking a lot and using them in Smoothies and also eating a hand full each day. I will pick some leaves and try the Tea.
ОтветитьTo get the full benefit from the leaves, one can extract them in a pressure cooker for about an hour - fresh or dried. Adding some ascorbic acid increases the extraction greatly, according to the testing. There are a lot of scientific papers on the subject and the health benefits are fairly astounding.
ОтветитьI think too much water will cause the fruit to be less sweet.
Ответить😊thanks.
ОтветитьSo the leaves don't get washed before they're dried?
ОтветитьThey grow all across philly, never knew the name but i eat them
ОтветитьDo you wash the leaves first
ОтветитьI have like 4 trees , I didn’t know about making tea , ❤thanks
ОтветитьLive in Ohio...these trees grow like crazy everywhere...I call them "weed" trees. The bird "droppings" have "planted" them in cities, woods, etc. I've been picking tge fruits - ALOT of seeds, I will start picking tge leaves, too. I will lay a tarp under the tree to catch the fruit daily.

ОтветитьWow. Most of us have known of the conversation with Napolitano about the JFK files for 3 years now and if you did not maybe you would like s heads up on JFK’s Executive Order President Trump “activated” which took the CIA power of oversea’s action from them and gave it back to the Pentagon Joint Chief’s.
ОтветитьWe found two 15' mulberry trees on our property. We didn't know what they were until our sin found the berries. It's leaves are high up and not very accessible. I think it's too big to cut back. Any suggestions on how to care for and harvest. They're in the wooded part of our side yard.

ОтветитьI actually am looking to convert my farm to 60 acre mulberry farm. Lot of people talk silk worms. My farm has been primarily livestock and pasture. got 160 cuttings on the way. Might have to actually buy and transplant from pots some mature trees for my goat pen i will have them outside of until i have a good feeling the tress are mature enough for them to not kill... them being goats.
Now in regards to the sap, can that be harvested/used for anything beneficial? nutrient content for animals?
