What we did to Japan was horrible!! True definition of Overkill!! They killed less than 2,000 at Pearl Harbor we killed half a million!!
ОтветитьThe emblem also meant We won't start it but We will finish it.
ОтветитьVery disappointed that they completely skipped over the B-58 Hustler.
ОтветитьI worked on the Minuteman III missiles.
ОтветитьI’m surprised “SAC” didn’t become some prime time TV show sometime during the late 90s and early 2000s like every other state and federal agency did
ОтветитьBomb them back to the stone age...Well I can agree with that... Save Ukraine!
ОтветитьOne of the great inventions of the 20th century!!! Incredibly magnificent aircraft and most advanced technologies of all time!!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьGOD BLESS AMERICA
GOD BLESS UKRAINE
LeMay's tactics in the Pacific were greatly enabled by Charles Lindbergh's breakthrough improvements to the range of P-38 fighter-escort.
ОтветитьThe continuous improvements instituted by the United States and our allies lend confidence to my impression of recent Russian withdrawal from legacy treaties and protocols as desperate bombast.
ОтветитьMy Dad was in sac flew in the huge B 36
ОтветитьWhen History was king
ОтветитьI remember when we first received cruise missiles for our B-52Gs at Wurtsmith AFB. in the early 80s.
ОтветитьNice to see SAC museum on display. This had to be early in the museum’s life as it looks pretty empty.
ОтветитьBest Job I Ever Had! ~USAF Vet, 2M0X2, Minot AFB, Malmstrom AFB, Vandyland & Hill.
ОтветитьI served in SAC in the 80's. Thanks for your support. Nice. JM.
ОтветитьExcellent
Ответить4 years in the USAF, all in SAC and all at Loring AFB.
ОтветитьCould never keep a fake moon landing secret, but these guys in SAC could keep a secret. This film did not age well either, no trigger warning, and highly offensive.
ОтветитьModern Marbles
Ответить222 in the silo
Ответить555 in the skies 222 in the silos and navy gray we're underway of the oceans and the seas
ОтветитьThey forgot to mention the RC-135 Cobra Ball aircraft.
ОтветитьI was stationed at EAFB, SD in the late 70’s and early 80’s.
ОтветитьOur pride and honor slowly gave way to politics and greed. Obama and Biden successfully flushed us down the toilet.
ОтветитьWith communist China & Russia threatening the entire world in 2023 we need to bring back SAC. Shalom
Ответитьi live in omaha nebraska, where the SAC headquarters was
ОтветитьI lived about a mile away from an active ICBM silo in the Adirondacks, then moved to Plattsburgh, NY in 1967. PAFB was a SAC base which flew FB 111s and KC 135s…and as proud as we were to be such a critical part of the defensive infrastructure of our country, we also knew PAFB SAC had become a primary target of incoming nuclear weapons aimed at the U.S. by Russia
ОтветитьMy dad was in SAC. They went to French Morroco, Puerto Rico, North Dakota and other places riding in a B36. With no insulation. He said it was really loud in a storm.
ОтветитьI served in SAC ‘85-‘89 as an ICBM technician. Wouldn’t trade it for anything
ОтветитьGreat inventions....
ОтветитьHistory Channel needs more of this please
ОтветитьThe comments about the B-36 are grossly inaccurate. Most of the space was reserved for gas? With a bomb load capacity of 84,000 pounds, it had easily the largest payload of any U.S. bomber in history. With a flight ceiling of at least 48,000 ft. (and it sometimes reached 55,000 ft. or more) there was no Soviet fighter of the 1950s that could have intercepted it. Yes, it was slow, but that would not have mattered. It was a stop-gap plane that was badly needed until the B-52 was fully operational.
ОтветитьImagine..... all this money spent on helping people instead of killing people. I mean.. just imagine.......
ОтветитьBrent Scowcroft. My kind of Mormon.
Except, I prefer beer, and coffee keeps
me awake at night.
steve
So the USA wasn't as smart as they thought they were or never has been as far as that goes look at it today
ОтветитьO my gosh. How I miss the good ol' days
ОтветитьOk this was a great show... But I can't help but think of another department in SAC... Nuclear underground testing strategic air command or NUT-SAC
😁
Lemay was a lunatic but in many ways he was right as rain.
ОтветитьMaY god have mercy upon on our souls for the sr-71 blackbird
ОтветитьPeace through strength sacs credo my uncle was a sac pilot for years he retired at Nellis Air Force Base ceremony was in the red flag lounge by invitation only allowed on the base in the lounge
