I honestly feel like a lot of people with ASPD (aka sociopathy) get misdiagnosed with autism. There can be quite a lot of overlap on the surface, but when you really get down to the details they are completely different obviously.

Eurydice’s parents are such good souls from the speech made. After all that happened they identify more as parents who lost their child to violence and depravity. This case was made worse with the desecration of Eurydice’s vigil. Everything is so terrible

That is not victim shaming, or blaming the victim. It’s called pay attention, you don’t walk around by yourself in the park, especially at night. There are things that you do to not put yourself in danger as much as you can, yes, it doesn’t always help, but it does make a big difference. All those excuses are what they are, excuses, there are a lot of people that have mental issues and don’t walk around causing harm and killing people. Same goes for a troubled upbringing, or main issues in your home, not all those people go around killing others. These stories on this channel prove that point, there are people on here that have survived horrible situations and do good in the world. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

What is all of this talk about "violence against women" stuff? Seriously, look at the survey from 2005 to 2022 and you will see violence against men is either more or slightly just under women in some years. The OVERWHELMING majority of these crimes are committed by people that they know. So this hysterical talk like women leave their homes or a night out is where they are most vulnerable is stupid. It is like the "blacks can't even go jogging without getting shot" insanity. Quit with the lies. If there are attacks against women by strangers, who is the majority who commit these these crimes.

I liked the quotes from i think the PM at the time "she should have been as safe walking across that park as she would be walking across a room in her house"
And the one thats like;
"Not all disrespected women end up in this situation, but all women who have this happen to them is because of disrespect"

The PoS who defaced the memorial did it because of "man haters" but didnt do it out of disrespect to the victim? Bullshit, he didnt respect her or care for her because shes a women and he clearly hates women. And they didnt make him do it. That was his choice.
Im glad that judge forced him to give a DNA sample in the best interest of the public - he seems like he definitely would commit a violent crime. Him saying the response to the R and M of this poor woman - well yeah it does cause women to hate men. Who does he think are the ones that R and M women like this? Who are the ones who mean we cant walk through a park without fear of someone attacking us?
I was initially pissed he didnt go to jail, but having to give DNA, pay back $20,000, do community service and attend a 'mens behaviour reeducation' type program will probably actually be more beneficial than say 6 months in prison, which would just breed more hate for him.
I wonder what they teach in that course and whether he actually learnt anything and changed at all.

I loathe the term "victim blaming." Telling females to be aware of your surroundings, is not victim blaming, it's sound advice. And just because you should be able to do something, doesn't mean you should do it. And walking across three fields with no one around in the dark, is foolhardy. And clearly she wasn't paying attention because to her surroundings because this perverted creep was able to follow undetected. Now me saying this, is not victim blaming, it's telling the truth, it's the cold, factual truth. And you can like it or not, but if you have loved ones, you had better get it together and make sure they know saving ten minutes off of your journey by putting yourself into a precarious situation, is not worth it.

Good lord! This evil man could be out of jail at age 55-wayyyyyyyy to young for any woman to feel safe. Hopefully at that time, there will be enough outcry from Eurydice’s family, friends and public to keep him locked up forever. I have never heard more damning prognosis from Psychiatrists-including his own defense Dr.-in years of watching true crime!

I’m sorry but the Police advice was RIGHT! No, the onis SHOULD not be on the Woman BUT who should it be on-a violent criminal?? As a woman, I have never walked alone at night through a park-I just wouldn’t think of doing it. I don’t walk near to an alley outlet when walking by myself-I see an alleyway coming up, I move as far away as possible if alone-it’s not even a conscious thing, just something my mom taught me to do many years ago. The police can’t be everywhere and yes, it is, unfortunately, up to every woman to watch out for themselves.

To sentence someone to additional years to run concurrent is the most pointless thing I’ve ever heard. Australia and Canada have the most lenient sentencing guidelines and it’s really a slap in the face to the victims families. Life should mean life. No parole. Period. And the other sentences should run consecutive.

The police were criticised for urging women to be more responsible for their own safety? Really? Everybody (including women) should take some responsibility for their own safety especially when walking home alone and at night in order to reduce the chances of something untoward from happening.

The world is such a dangerous place that anything can happen if you don't try to take some steps to at least reduce the risk of something bad happening to you; it's almost as if some people on social media think that personal responsibility shouldn't be a thing and opt for the easy response of "well it's victim shaming". No it isn't. You should be able to walk safely anywhere you want but the truth is bad things can and will happen even near where you live and the best you can really do is to try and minimise any risks where possible.

There's always backlash when a woman is murdered and other women are asked to be careful. I understand the backlash because it's not our fault but at the same time, there's not much they can say about the men, hi men, can you please stop raping and murdering women yeah? Alright, cool. Eurydice was being careful, she wasn't drunk, she was nearly home and people knew where she was. She should have been safe.
