Best Choir VST Library in the World? (Dominus Choir Pro)

It would be nice to have individual SATB sections for a choir of this price. Soniccouture's All Saints Choir has this, but nowhere near the feature set of Dominus and only vowels. Does Dominus have any sort of divisi feature to thin out the number of voices?

Can anyone recommend a Choir library that can build real custom words for creating real lyrics and not just multi vowel combinations

⚠️ THESE ARE NOT VIRTUAL CHOIRS. These a sound files. That’s why we always here phrases in all choir samples. This is not genuine choir software. Just lots of choir audio files. It sounds realistic because it’s a real recording of a choir that was sampled. The software sounds great at first but in the end it’s actually a real joke. I don’t want words and phrases in every single choir patch I use that’s simply nuts. I have lots of high-quality choir patches with no phrasing or words.

If wanting to use this to make chior score demos, how easy is the word builder to work with when trying to enter the text for an entire work? It seems to me like it may get kinda annoying have to build each word, then having to play along with the completed score to get the timing for switching to the next word. Is there perhaps a way for it to automatically switch to the next word in the word list, without having to use midi cc? Only word builder I have experiance with is the east west one, and it is so annoying I can feel what is left of my soul dying working with it

Hi Mikael. Have you a solution, to play chords in Dominus Choir Pro with two hands and change the syllables while live playing? I thought maybe with the foot controller, but it only understand on and off commands not like keyswitches. Thanks for your reply, Andy

im going to be honest, there are way better libraries for the price compared to this, and it isn't even kontakt player compatible for some unknown reason. i've played around with it for a bit and it really isn't worth it compared to anything. at least i can always just edit the code

Nice demonstration. I looking for something like "the text to speech" choir pack (with all letters from the alphabet).

To save many of you a lot of trouble and money: There is a lot of hype around this choir. It doesn't live up to it even if you are an aspiring composer. The regulation between voices is very poor especially when you transition between registers (e.g. moving from tenor to alto). This creates inconsistent phrasing and very noticeable bumps. This means you have to manually regulate your phrasing which is so time consuming that it makes the program unusable. In addition, legato between voices is not good but creates an inelegant blurring that simply sounds bad. I was very disappointed when I bought the program. It's a lot of money and takes many many hours to download. The makers of the program know of these issues and the tricks they give disgruntled users to solve these problems don't work.
Notice how almost every audio example given is paired with strings or other instruments. This covers up the blemishes. Also, there is not a single example of true polyphony where the real weaknesses of the program would be painfully obvious.

Need full version of Kontakt, so this is a no for me.

The sound is awesome, but it doesn't feature a word builder. So it's not the best choir library in the world. But the one with the best sound

Once I listened to "O Magnum Mysterium" on their website I was immediately SOLD! I know this score very well, performed by many choirs around the world, and Fluffy has this down to the pintac accuracy. Beautiful. Expensive, yes. But this is a must have for vocal classical cathedral comps. Thank you, Mike.

I think Spitfire Audio's BBC Symphony Choir is very good. Authentic sampled choir.

I play in a metal band and have been researching which choir plugin would be best suited to enhance this style music. I'm not having much luck narrowing down which to purchase as reviews are all over the place. Cost isn't an issue. Any recommendations?

Hi. This might sound stupid but I'm new to all the stuff. Used to be a drummer but epilepsy has destroyed that. Lots of time at home. Now playing keyboard/piano. I am constantly searching online for help as I get confused and my memory not so good. I have FL Studio. I am aware of VST. I have downloaded free plugins. I was thinking of purchasing this and because this is all new I need help very quickly. This has to be used through Kontakt but can I then use this on FL studio? Also what's your opinion on BBC symphony Orchestra. I like the look and sounds. Would you recommend this? To whoever responds to help a man in need.
