Watched the first 2 seasons at lest 4 times and im currently reading the light novels as i wait for a 3rd season of this absolute masterpiece of an anime and book series

This is such a fantastisc show. If you have any reservations let me lay them to rest. 86 fits all of the criteria of what makes a plot great, what makes interesting characters, and steller animation! Not to mention the deep symbolic plotlines and imagery. It's a show that despite high review scores is massively under recognised. Hyroyuki Sawono's score is just is the perfectly tops it all off. Give it a watch and you won't regret it! It's good to the point the the original author cryed when he saw the final episode.

The only problem with 86 is its 1st episode, its not that good, after watching it I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue, but I am so glad I did.

It's basically a critique on America's War on Terror.

I have watched over 400 anime and it took 3 years but could never choose my favourite anime but I watched this all in one night
and it is the best anime ever and its ok if you don't think so but its definitely has the best ending in all history ever.
