I just boosted my truck, with my battery booster, never had a check engine line on ever before, once I boosted it, light came on, I have this scanner, can I turn the engine light off, once I find the prob? I’m assuming nothing serious, 2019 ram 1500 classic

I have a old Molar Timing Diagnostic Computer looks like a timing gun. It gives your rpm it also has a button for DW ADV and TEST and an up and down ARROW. IT has four wire red black green and box for number one spark plug wire. I need to know where to hook the green wire around on the motor.

At this Moment, My 05 Grand Prix Pontiac isn't Cranking. But it Lights Up. I keep telling My Granddad that You don't have to have it Cranked in order to let a Computer Read the Problem. Thank You for Proving My Point.
