Coming from a Hair Restoration Center for 10 years I would like to give you some advice that I think could really benefit you. Instead of bleaching the knots with 40 volume developer and risking the knots falling out from being over-processed try getting hair with a dark blonde front hairline. Coat the base of the hairline with conditioner for protection of the knots and color the hair the dark brown shade that you desire. This way you get the blonde knots that blend perfect and no major chemicals could damage the knots potentially. This will make the lace system last much longer.
