Baking soda & sugar snake

Making a snake by burning baking soda and sugar.
You will need:
1 part baking soda (BI-carb soda)
4 parts sugar (preferably caster sugar)
Rubbing alcohol or lighter fluid
Bowl of sand
Matches

Mix the baking soda and sugar together. Pour the alcohol onto the sand and spoon a pile of the baking soda/sugar mix. Light the sand and wait. The mixture burns and makes a snake of the ash. It took 23 minutes to make the snake in this video.
