ОтветитьYou got to be kidding! See Ivory Joe Hunter for the real deal. Hell, even Pat Boone did it better.
ОтветитьKool Eddie!
ОтветитьPat Boone better? That was a BOLD statement but Eddie made a bluesy rocker of this song and Pat is....well, forget him.
Ответить@danni3091 Yea...I really like this one too, very much. So cool...
Ответитьlove this song love Eddie but it is not a patch on Pat Boone's version.
ОтветитьThere's something about the over-reverbed vocal sound-It sounds false like he's trying to be something he's not.Great guitar solo though.
Ответить@Comofan100 Sorry Pat Boones not a piece of lice on the hair from a pimple on Eddie Cochran's ass.
ОтветитьEddie does not cover a Pat Boone song... He fixes a Pat Boone song!!!!

Ответить@Elvireman Love your comment, "He fixes a Pat Boone song!!!!" Though it was not a Pat Boone song but Ivory Joe Hunter did the original...but maybe you had that info and I never heard Pat on this song. And for sure I do not want to hear Pat on it anyway.

ОтветитьSo F*****G outstanding version of Ivory's original. Both are the best ;O)
ОтветитьTough Eddie kicked out 1960, UK, and Joe Hunter, I hope, had a good life until his decease Dec 3, 1974. Oh, talk about coincidence - I was born that day BUTI, think I catch up a couple of important matters . since I left you, my baby- lol
ОтветитьExtraordinary man at his age , of course he wasn't so bad in the movies at a very young teenager. Every year he just got more remarkable. Just what an entertainer he would have been if he had live.
ОтветитьGreat song, know it also singed bij Pat Boone, also wonderful, both guys had a great voice!!
ОтветитьEverybody I know want to find DVD's of Eddie, cannot find any.
ОтветитьWOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
From a 73yo Aussie fan.

ОтветитьAmerica's Greatest
Ответить👍👧👍
ОтветитьI love this song love....thank you very much ❤❤❤❤
Ответитьsalut eddie !
ОтветитьI had not heard this before, thanks for posting it; he was so ahead of his time; great singer/songwriter and guitarist . I was lucky to have seen him on that fateful UK tour in 1960, he was incredible. It was only 11 months since I'd seen Buddy Holly and The Crickets on their UK tour, mind blowing. Buddy and Eddie were good friends
ОтветитьBro gave us time to form groups and discuss the video
