Oh man, this sucks, I'm so sorry. Thank you so much for your work and entertainment over the years. You've been such a massive part of my life and career for over a decade.
ОтветитьRoadkill. Back to basics...
ОтветитьI loved Roadkill, thanks for all the videos!
ОтветитьI thought so and it's been an awesome journey so far! I look forward to so much more here now you've got your hands on your own production platform! Big respect to you! Let's fry more burgers! Flip more bangers and enjoy some more motors with your fantastic and fun, fast paced presentations. Big love and get busy ❤
ОтветитьObviously the group of them can't make those shows on their own. Bur I wonder whether they had to sign non competes. I hope not. It seems to me there's ALOT of money to be made. P.S. You guys should take a look at how Conan Obrien resurrected his career. You don't need a conglomerate behind you to make big money on social media anymore.
Ответитьim 64 and not techy- dont understand all this paywall streaming etc etc. but i'll figure out somehow to follow all you guys. it just seems to me a channel or network would realize yalls worth and yalls following and take yall on. all of yalls material and events and escapades would be enuff for a channel itself. all this has such a depressing feel to it but somehow its gotta work out. theres too much to offer to too many ppl. well anyway- be safe and keep at it. we'll find yall somehow...😉❤
Ответитьdidn't care about the paywall but restricting the ability to even pay for the shows in Australia was a serious gut punch. some of us found ways around that but it certainly was smart business from the business people. excited for what's next.
ОтветитьI been here since day one. Roadkill was amazing.
ОтветитьMaybe it's time for a new cpllab channel @David Freiburger???
ОтветитьBeen following your career since Hot Rod magazine days. You’re a great influence on the industry and a genuinely good dude. We met at the last Pump Gas Drags along with the Turks who are also awesome. My buddy was a competitor in the event and I was the do everything else guy. You kept the momentum going and made it fair and fun. We placed in the top ten and had a blast. RIP Allan Wisenbaker. Keep on grinding and the rest will follow.
ОтветитьFk the corporate profit margins and cancelations. I have watched all your shows since the start. Keep doing your shows here. We will all watch here. I do not watch TV anymore. Just you tube as most the people I know. You have the best shows about cars and that's the prize jewel. They canceled you from lower viewership because alot of people don't watch TV. NOT because people don't watch you. Love you and your crew and your shows. Where is your subscribe button. Just start a blig called Fryburger and set up a camera and film what you do. Your the success. They did not make you, your baddass and you made them millions. It's your turn now.
ОтветитьI didn't see your show until I found it on Max, it is rare to find a show that was so genuine and fun. I am sad I never got a chance to get the hot wheels set that came with a subscription to Motortrend magazine. 😢
ОтветитьTo up the ante. I am from the Netherlands. And many people all over the world cannot access USA network stations. But they can access YT. Your audience just got aLOT bigger and all you have to deal with now is YT and maybe a cameraman and editor who are your employees.
ОтветитьI always watched for you guys (and your crew), not for m/t. Just got my Dawg sticker pack, and one will be living on Sir Bobbin (my Suburban).
ОтветитьThank you for great 10 years I been watching roadkill garage and some off crazy car builds, road trips an real broken down cars
Will miss them old days
Look at the number of people who are signing up on your channel. You can just keep on trucking.
ОтветитьSucked when they took the motortrend subscription from Australian viewers I was devastated when I logged in and I couldn't watch anymore end of an era
ОтветитьAll of your hosts need to be supported. Honestly, they are the best shows period.
ОтветитьI took my daughter to pikes peak because of roadkill. Glad I did. Thanks David, and mike, and Steve.
ОтветитьDude.
I never comment on videos. But Dude how many intake manifolds do ya need?
You're great BTW.
Best wishes; you captivated me with the story of that fabled journey in the deathtrap-lowered vehicle. Thank you for simply being a good man with honesty, a homely disposition, and an adventurous mind.
ОтветитьFreiburger has been a jerk to Dulcheck😊 since then too. But hey, they're buddys, not really MY place to point it out.😊
ОтветитьI’m trying to listen to your story and watch two guys on a road
Trip driving a Ranchero to Alaska
Good on u telling your side mate. I'm here , waiting for more. I'll watch it... let's go
ОтветитьThank you David, your content has been so watchable and I have loved every minute of it! I love Mike but having watched so many videos with you and Dulcich and he is a genuine one off! Love that guy. I'm following your new channel , so keep on doing what you do. B8g love from the Highlands of Scotland.
Euan x
Hurts!! Like when Speedvision (Speed TV) ended. Crap pisses me off
ОтветитьWe hope you stick around on some kind of platform. It's been an absolute pleasure mate. All the best.
ОтветитьI'm going to miss roadkill that's what kinda got me into working on old vehicles and now I am starting a shop somewhat for old vehicles mowers equipment really anything with a motor that not electric I work on
ОтветитьDave gives off a liberal vibe
Ответитьwell shit....oh well isnt meant to be. we arent going anywhere though, roadkill for life
ОтветитьIt will be missed 😢
ОтветитьMark my words motor trend is going to die completely since they killed everyone's favorite shows it only a matter of time
ОтветитьI’m just here for the death trap jeep hot rod.
ОтветитьHey Look !! Roadkill is Back on Yutube!!
Oh no. It's gone forever. Pffft.
Talk about being Punk'd
I enjoyed the episodes with freiburger and Steve , they were great episodes, but Mike was as informative and interesting as a boring stump, never really added anything to the the to story, sorry, just didn’t, they did , enjoyed the stories over the years, I loved how they had fun ,and they had it with a lower budget than these multiple thousand shows that pretend to be low budget, what a joke.
ОтветитьI still remember when RK left YT and I was gutted, but it seems mad to blame the presenters... Crazy it was 9 years ago though.....
ОтветитьSpeaking of Mighty Car Mods I always wish that you guys would go over there and build a car to compete in the burnout competitions with Mighty Car Mods yes I know you guys went over there and you got to drive that 900 horsepower red Holden and that green pulled in that was a psychotic I always wish that you guys would have went over there and actually built a car either with or against Mighty Car Mods to compete
ОтветитьBeen watching from the beginning and not playing on stopping any time soon! Thanks for everything you do man!
ОтветитьHey Freiburger! I just want to thank you and the team for countless hours of entertainment on your various shows throughout the years. I even paid for MotorTrend on demand just so I could get my fix when they took everything off of YT.
I think that the thing that sucked the most during Covid was when they geoblocked Australia and other countries from accessing MTOD. I was happy to pay for the service and honestly, it was one of the cheaper ones.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I'll be watching.
Hi Dave, great video. Just a quick question, who owns the name RoadKill ?
Is this something you and Finnegan can ressurect using the same name, or does the parent company still own the name ?
The epa pays....
ОтветитьI've been following along the way, and I really thank both you and Mike. Cause us with not so much money, has a way of learning stuff we need to learn, you know? doing stuff ourselves. fix stuff and so on. I've gotten SO many fixtricks from your videos along the way, and my Granddad really taught me great manmy things with a screwdriver and so on. But you know, the cheap fixes goes a long way for us with not so much in the pocket. So I'm really thankful for both you and Mike.
ОтветитьTake care guys.
