Not looking forward to the new rules at all and don't like the current ones really. The 2026 ones are whole other level of ugh though.
50/50 ICE and ERS sounds like a nightmare and for once I think Horner wasn't just moaning for no reason. To make uo for the lack of power on the straight they put a sticking plaster solution on in the form of movable wings which sounds like a safety concern as mich as a gimmick. Are collisions going to result on DNF's when previous cars could fit a new wing?
All of this done to appease a vocal minority who think batteries are the way forward and really thats just about image when it doesn't actually save much. You could get more carbon savings reschudling the calendar or knocking a race off. A lot like electric cars in general people are like "ooh no emissions" when that energy needs to come from somewhere, much of which is still from fossil fuels.
Could have just as easidly gone for fully sustainble fuels and it would achieve close to carbon neutrality and maybe the rest they could maybe have carbon sink tech or something. Lithium is a finite resource as well and then what are people going to use? Does anyone even fully recycle lithium yet?
Anyway the big point is its a MOTORsport and that is just what it is and should be. It's not even the racing itself thst has a huge impact on carbon emissions, moreso the freight and people travelling contributing but that just gets brushed under the carpet.
I would love to be wrong aboit the cars as well and hope maybe there is some new tech that increases the thermal efficiency or something of that sort as otherwise it doesn't look good to me. I don't mind drs tbh and wish it had stayed instead of these new wings, but probably there is so little power/ sustained hugh output energy that both wings needed to move. So it really is a sticking plaster solution and st least to me a safety concern. We all know how poor one of the current gen cars is when unbalanced so goodness knows what these could be like.
Dude if you listen to me I TOLD YOU THAT LAST WEEK LOL MARIO ANDRETTI SED IN THE INTERVIEW HE PICS WHO DRIVES & wants a vet & if you seen Ricardo’s pictures with him you would NO & HE SED HE REALLY WANTS A AMERICAN DRIVER FOR THE OTHER & he is having some Indy car guys work to get there racing driver license I NO YOU DONT REED MY COMMENTS BECAUSE YOU HATE TRUMP
I was once a liberal until Justin Trudeau & when they did to trump is what makes a maga Canadian so you no Justin gave me my name
HOPEFULLY NOW I START WATCHING I DONT HALF TO CALL YOU OUT ABOUT LIEN SUZUKI MOTO FROM JAPAN WHO CANT BEAT LANCE STROL
I'm still wondering what Red Bull is going to do if the report saying Checo is bring in 20-30 mil and Max has lost sponsors is true.
ОтветитьCadillac ceo says he likes f1's favorite aussie and hopes he can sign him for 2026....
Hopefully bottas will accept 😂
good god man, get to the point
ОтветитьIf the batteries are smaller than it would get used up faster is that how they're getting faster
ОтветитьAlong with Herta and Ricciardo, I think Cadillac should consider O'Ward. Obviously O'Ward has a contract with McLaren for now, and he's Mexican, but he grew up in San Antonio, so he has strong American ties. He also used to race for Andretti in the Indy Lights series (now Indy NXT), where he beat Herta.
ОтветитьI ALWAYS SMOKE A JOINT BEFORE I WATCH YOU EH so far so good you have not sed his name, grate job so far hopefully I don’t half to come back lol
ОтветитьLove the site , great info and opinion But please slow down you talk like your on speed just breath and slow down a little please dude.
ОтветитьSteward at £100k each, FIA can buy cheaper wines and cognac’s and fly commercial aircraft for it.
ОтветитьI have a thought about the cars. If there is a strict budget, why are there rules for what can or can't be done? Since they all have the same money, if a team designs something that works, eventually everyone else will do it. If not, they have lost that money.
ОтветитьProfessional organization relying on volunteers for agueably the most important part of a race. Unworthy.
Ответитьits getting silly that f1 designs the cars for the teams now. its too much. set the regs and let the teams do what they want. i miss the innovation.
ОтветитьIf I am Cadillac. I prefer Botas but I am not Cadillac 😂
ОтветитьThat 2026 car, honestly I prefer the current rear wing style, with the sharp and cutout tops.
ОтветитьIf F1 and the teams pay for permanent stewards, then it's a short step to just pay for an in-house regulatory body.
ОтветитьConnor Zilisch is the kid they need to move into Cadillac F1. He is under contract with Chevrolet driving a Corvette GT3 car at Daytona 24.
ОтветитьMercedes
ОтветитьI heard a rumour about who will be driving for Cadillac and I can’t name names but let’s just say I reckon he’ll be ALRIGHT GUYS.
ОтветитьThe cars look like Formula-E.
ОтветитьI’ll be a permanent steward for $250,000 with registered Monaco residency. 😂 Benny hit me up.
ОтветитьIf Ricciardo comes back again I am done. Just no.
ОтветитьBring back v8 at least bro Jesus I don't want a Prius be a f1 car
ОтветитьRed Bull should give Bottas a test session. He’d be a good wingman for Max.
ОтветитьWhat this means is Merc is going to dominate. PU and wings are big and ground effects are not. That is where Merc is strong
ОтветитьGood work this year.,Theres no such thing as too much swagger
Ответитьintrigued to your thoughts
ОтветитьInteresting & informative video. But I watched it at 75% playback speed to make it bearable and to be able to understand/comprehend your narration.
Please talk more slowly!
Lol this bro is on his villian arc when it comes to anything MBS says...
ОтветитьTalk slower…….please 😂
ОтветитьUnlike Haas, GM already has talented engineers with similar skills and knowledge to produce an F1 powerplant and a variety of race cars from Indy to LeMans. Don't change the tires, just avoid kerbs like you are supposed to
Ответитьgetting rid of the "ground effects floor" is is a very good idea as it is a serious advantage to the teams with much higher budgets that can afford the necessary wind tunnel time required to develop it. this will keep the field a lot more on equal footing making for more competitive racing across the grid!
ОтветитьCan't stand MBS. Absolute tool.
ОтветитьThe stewards cannot be permanent it will lead to more corruption...let them be rotating as it is currently
Ответитьits complete utter BS to got 50% electric. Current electric system works well and its got to a reliable place. Keep the current EV setup and go full eco fuel and increase the capacity of the v6 engines and you will have a very fast car
ОтветитьYuki and Stroll. Bad lineup.
Ответитьthe rab trifecta val cod now f1 good day
ОтветитьIf you look at the standings Russel destroyed Hamilton this year too, but on this channel that is not spoken of.
ОтветитьI would really love to see Mohammed Ben Sulayem get kicked out of the FIA, he's not doing anything good, and is such an egomania..
ОтветитьBen Sulayem needs to go. He can’t even agree that current stewardship is an issue. It would cost peanuts relative to F1 costs.
ОтветитьDear Mr Toyota,
Got any spare staff?
Yours sincerely,
Gene Haas
I know this really doesn’t mean anything but the nosecones still look a bit wider than I’d have liked
ОтветитьClick bait channel!!
ОтветитьWhy doesn’t F1 break away from the FIA and start their own game evening body run by a mix of business people and former F1 drivers? Something like F1I, “Formula One International.” Bring back V8 or V10, or at least make on Inline 6 turbo unit to improve the sound! This 2026 car is starting to look like an F2/Indycar, at this point the FIA may as well make the teams choose between 2 independent manufacturers for everything like Indycar! Garbage!
ОтветитьOne thing at a time mate, you say a lot we end up losing it
ОтветитьSPEAK FASTER
ОтветитьDRS is now complicated DRS front and rear. Ground Aero will always make wet races obismal at best.
'26 proposal looks like a Napa auto parts sponsored indy car.
