I'm still happy for the United States; we didn't get any medals at all in beach volleyball, but we made up for it here since the women got a silver, and the men got a bronze. Congratulations to Italy; they earned it, and they deserve it.

Italy came to play and it showed. They were way too good in the finals. I’m sad to see that this will be Drews, Carlini, Larson and Cook’s last game with the National Team.

Italy was on fire and peaked at the perfect time; well deserved gold medal. After losing the first game of their first match, they swept 18 games straight. I don't think I've ever seen that done before in international vball. Congrats to Team USA for the silver medal, especially because they didn't play well in the VNL

Here's a piece of info I found out. In the 2023 Olympic Qualifying Tournament, it was the United States that won 3 sets to 1 over Italy. That's a turnaround to me.

Sorry, Jordan Poulter couldn’t make a connection. When a hitter has to tip it’s the setter’s fault. Also, the US couldn’t get a block or a touch on the ball.
