OperaGX vs Edge vs Firefox vs Chrome

i like opera gx because it makes a sound when i type

Rule of thumb is anything is better than chrome, chrome takes way too much memory and if you're someone who plays Minecraft alot I would consider opera. It's very convenient and very customizable

Opera GX is owned by a Chinese firm. That's enough for me to not use it.

Weird, now i came back to opera gx and its waaaaay faster than chrome.. and some faster than edge + cpu/ram usage is low.
Edge is faster than chrome, but had weird problem.. its loading sites.. but had nothing to do on them by 20-30 sec. Its like loaded.. but only visual site ;p

this is a bad comparison because you only consider speed, what about efficiency, safety, practicality. also some work better on different os, for example firefox is best for linux.

So you have the supposed "gaming browser" which is unresponsive on 3 devices, either black or white screens and does not receive connection from my router regardless of whether I have anti-virus or not.
Then you have Edge which boots up in under a second, has a rewards page for just typing into the search engine, and is easy to modify.

Stop trying to Stan that pretty browser.

Keep in mind:
Opera GX (OGX for short) : Based on chromium (A rendering engine)
Chrome: Based on chromium (Rendering engine)
Firefox: Based on Gecko
Edge: Based on chromium.
The browser shouldn't take more to load pages unless some of the following are happening:
OGX: Has an AD blocker and VPN, it should take a little bit longer if those are enabled.
Chrome: Has telemetry by Google.
Firefox: Should only slow itself down by add-ons.
Edge: Has telemetry and other stuff by Microsoft.
Now, the rendering engine also comes in handy to test this.
Chromium - Fastest
Gecko/Firefox - Slower than chromium.
And, also the specs of your PC and your Internet connection play a factor on how fast pages load.

You have a problem with the computer, not with the browser.

Yayyyyy Microsoft edge is my fav browser

I use gx because it looks cool and I has a built in ad block (also it looks cool)

It is important to set a internet connection speed limit that is below what your connection can actually handle to make sure you get accurate results.

Keep in mind that these are only millisecond differences and it more generally depends on the feel of the browser.

Personally i never touch chromium browsers only for school i use edge i never use chrome because of the high ram usage but also would not advice chromium based browsers by big companies because google and ms track you and spy on you and your data

as a guy who uses Microsoft Edge, I must really say Opera GX is really nice too! I use it when I want privacy and etc

Ive been using Edge alot since 3 years.... and it runs on the Chromium code so its compatible with everything chrome.... moreover it is integrated deeply into windows os.. so its upto par with file placing and knows its way around windows and how to make it fast..recieves its integrations through the windows updates.. etc etc.. but yes when i need security or use ai i got opera as its way of dealing with the web is more active instead of passive it actively gains control over webpages and often dominates the ads... some pages tell the user in chrome to turn your adblocker off,, but somehow opers never lets these pages know your adblocker is working instead tells them its off even though its on and your enjoying...

The reason why chrome is in last is because it take up a lot of resources I recommend going into task manager to end the task until restart
