PLANET ZOO | 3 UNIQUE WAYS TO BUILD ENCLOSURES (Habitat Building Guides & Tips)

I've been messing around with Planet Zoo to come to grips with all the options, and honestly, there are just so many ways to build an enclosure! I don't spend any time dolling these up in this video, but I can't wait to kick off the let's play where I'm likely going to spent countless (timelapsed) hours on these things... Cheers!

I would recommend disabling Animal Welfare in Sandbox Settings so the pesky protestors stop getting in the way of your cinematic shots.

Why isn't this stuff in the workshop

the tool they provide in this game is so powerful that it's kinda intimidating for me

I have just recently gotten planet zoo and have found it super complicated to play. I'm hopeing it gets easier

The climbable tunnel did not work right. I was happy to see the Japanese Macaques climb it pretty quickly but as soon as they got on top of the tunnel roof, the game said they escaped the habitat. I ignored the alerts but the monkeys went into boxes without me touching anything. I'm disappointed you put a design in the video that doesn't work with the game controls.

Is there a way to close the habitat for the underpass segment? I’ve gained some inspiration from this to use for my lemurs. But it says barrier incomplete, and limits what I can usually do with it :(

What do you do about zookeeper access to the other half of the glass walkway chimp habitat? You could put all of the food on the side they can access but that doesn't solve the issue of them not being able to clean half of the habitat.

Once I was at the toronto zoo at the moose enclosure and there was a shack with a tub of oranges and there was a monkey in THE MOOSE ENCLOSURE EATING AN ORANGE

You make building look so easy. My attempt at tunnels have been extremely frustrating.

How is it possible to have the walk in glass tunnel? When I build it cos there is a break in the barrier the habitat is invalid and I can’t place animals in it ?

i swear josh from let game it out give a great disservice to the game. he make it seem like this is a simple causal management game but there is like a whole lvl of management to deal with

Thanks, I made glass barriers for an elephant and in the end I ended up losing my zoo

You CAN make a glass-roofed underwater tunnel with water over it, but it's tricky. Paulsley and DeLadysigner both do that, I believe, and probably others.

cool thanks bro. I also was wondering if it's possible to build 2 story shelter for animals. I haven't try it because im a noob builder, just recently started franchase mode after play like few career mode. This video helps me a lot man.

i got my swimming animals over the guests in this game

The last one reminds me of when I was at a zoo and I was in the ring tailed lemur exhibit (I think) and it was a wooden path with a roof going over the exhibit. You could see the giraffe exhibit from there XD

For the bear I think I should use your idea but make it underground and add a skylight with a little separate area for privacy

They should make a planet aquarium that would be fun

I know this is a video of a year old but you actually CAN make an aquatic tunnel. Its only something that shouldn't be possible the way it's done and you need to build glass coverage around the path to make sure it doesn't look weird. But it's possible

How do you make it so the entire habitat is considered one enclosure? I tried this and every time the monkeys climbed on the glass it assumed they were escaping. There must be something I'm missing.
