Bring back the Tifo podcast!
Ответитьi don’t think so lol
ОтветитьA resounding, yes!
ОтветитьI've started to believe, so i need to come back and watch this video for a much needed dose of reality.
ОтветитьI‘d like to see England play a good ol' 4-4-2 with Trent in the Beckham position. It could look like this:
Kane - Palmer
Foden/Saka - Jude - Rice - TAA
Shaw - Guehi - Stones - Walker
Pickford
You could also swap Bellingham and Palmer and bring on another midfielder like Mainoo instead. Bellingham would make runs from behind Kane in a sort of 4-4-1-1 structure.
Finally you guys came back on my recommended. I was wondering what happened to Tifo.
ОтветитьYes, next question.
ОтветитьHow long can it take to say "yes"?
50 minutes, apparently 😂
Biggest problem is players without the ball not running into empty space to give options...
ОтветитьDid you delete all the Tifo IRL content?? Wtf?
ОтветитьEngland right now has the best players, but they are playing so negative and defensive you would think they were complete nobodies
ОтветитьWhy the Luxembourg flag instead of Dutch?
ОтветитьBring back silly tifo, you guys said it was getting bad when it was at its peak :(
ОтветитьBest podcast on here
ОтветитьIt limits their attack. But it makes them more solid defensively. Attack wins you games. Defence wins you tournaments.
ОтветитьI’m sure all of you already knew this, but I’m saying it anyway. Joe is the most important part of this podcast.
ОтветитьYou simply got no one who can play a pass. Except Trent and Stones maybe. But they don't belong in midfield.
ОтветитьI wouldn't be entirely sure Mainoo will start against Switzerland because he played too many forward passes for Southgates liking against Slovakia...
ОтветитьYou could sum up Englands problems in 6 words "No one is making any runs".
It really doesn't matter who's in the team or what the structure/tactical setup is.
Until the players start to show some off the ball goalscoring/creative ambition we will continue to be reliant on moments of individual brilliance and the odds are that won't see us beat Switzerland.
There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to anyone with a non nationalistic , working brain to suggest that England progress to the SF. Any team , regardless of its ability , thats posted 4 complete stinkers in a row are more likely to post a 5th than a 180 degree uturn in performance and make no mistake , thats what they need against one of the best Swiss sides in that nations history. I see the Swiss winning in 90 minutes , perhaps even by more than 1 goal.
ОтветитьIt's simple, there is no runners, no creativity, and no idea of what to do because of the organised defence. It's surely not the capability of the players, so must be either tactics, or many players who are great but not gelling.
Let's stop the attempts to cross, which are clearly not working because of the ability to progress the ball. Let's see runners who attack the box, they will either get tackled, lose the ball, get a free kick, penalty or score. Nobody doing it.
Best quote of the entire video: “Are you saying Trippier doesn’t have a gravitational pull? 🥴”
ОтветитьI wouldn’t be surprised if Southgate doesn’t even know what these guys are talking about.
ОтветитьTwo takeaways. Firstly the host is a complete iritant. Secondly this is the first time ive seen what JJ looked like, i assumed he was bald by his voice. Make of that what you will
ОтветитьThe rest of Scotland and I look forward to England changing tactics against a team who have about half a dozen players at the same club side
ОтветитьBring this trio back!!!
ОтветитьHELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AND WELCOME TO THE TIFO FOOTBALL PODCAST
ОтветитьI say again.... What tactics?????
ОтветитьWas Jon Mackenzie from tifo or from the athletic before?
ОтветитьWhat do you mean you couldn't get rights to your own song?
ОтветитьGreat chem!
ОтветитьLets stick to the football pls Joe, I absolutely love JJ and Jon
Ответить'Diooogo Costa darling' 😅
Ответить3-4-2-1 is the way...
Ответитьuse gordon, use palmer, if you're playing walker and trippier try swapping them, drop foden and use subs earlier
ОтветитьJoe's "he's playing 120" absolutely made my day, lovely work
Ответитьi love joes humor and delivery. ahh such a lovable lot these three
ОтветитьThis question implies you think there are underlying tactics. Gareth won't have that.
ОтветитьThis was rubbish, way below Athletic standard, no structure or direction.... bit like England tbh. Maybe they were being ironically analogous to England's tactics!
ОтветитьFeel like Maddison would have made a huge difference in this team, even though at the time I felt alright about him not being in the squad. Our biggest issue is a failure to get the ball through the midfield towards the attackers, something he would have helped a lot with
ОтветитьIs water wet?
ОтветитьHow can we expect to win anything without Jack grealish... He's the party boy...
ОтветитьJJ almost concealed his Scottish contempt for the English side
ОтветитьJJs golden gen solution benches that David Beckham fella. Just like his current gen solution benches Saka
Ответить3 at the back
Saka and trent wing backs
Mainoo and Rice middle
Foden/palmer and bellingham in half spaces behind Kane
Please ❤
I've watched all games of the current tournament, I have to say that experimental Poland who was eliminated first from the group stage played way better than England.
ОтветитьAs a neutral non-European watching the euros I see a clear distinction between three categories of teams; a shared understanding of football with lots of talented players but no clear superstars in Spain and Germany, no shared understanding of football great number of talented players with a number of superstars in England, France and Portugal and finally teams with no shared understanding of football and a few talented players and no superstars but with a clear tactical set up that has come from managers that were able to utilize their teams to more than the sum of their parts in Switzerland, Austria, Turkey and the Netherlands. It’s also telling that the best managers right now come from Spain and Germany now while France and England hardly produce any top level coaches with Portugal producing tacticians that aren’t a product of a specific school of thought but are mavericks with their very own ideas. The Spanish and German national team are likely to sustain success as long as their approach to coaching remains the same and are unlikely to rely on golden generations to win trophies while France, England and Portugal will always need to have a golden generation with clear superstars and even that is no guarantee of success.
ОтветитьThe Bellingham-Foden situation is the Gerad-Lampard of this generation. When you have so many good players you have to make the tough decision to bench some for the sake of balance.
