ОтветитьTeamwork “should” start in the home. Each week, after church, as a family we’d set out our goals, activities, chores, parent work schedule, kids’ school schedule, budget, & meals (in pencil to leave room for unanticipated events). All had a part & voice in planning, even leaving room for unplanned chill & play time. When everyone felt heard & understood their role, & all worked together to accomplish the family goals, life was smooth. Yes there were bumps in the road, but that’s when a parent puts up safety rails & detour signs to lead the family on a safe & positive journey. Enjoyed this critical dialogue & thoughtful perspectives.
ОтветитьGentlemen a good solution is the Boy Scouts, even with the newer co-ed systems. Yes, it is expensive and time consuming but everything you speak of is covered and then some. I was fortunate enough to be in an all black troop, but you learn how to deal with everything when you go camping with other troops, most of which are white. Valuable lessons indeed.
ОтветитьFATHERS SHOULD DO THEIR JOB MAKE SURE THEY CAN..

ОтветитьAnother great video! If I may say my wife and I have pivot away from sports and into other curricular activities that have the same teaching abilities for team building, teamwork, self-esteem, and how to cope with losing in Orchestra/band ,volunteering for the cadet fire/ EMT program(Shout out to Walkerville fire station MD), taekwondo and the robotics team building program here in the Washington DC area.
Sports are great avenues for learning to build teamwork, life skills, but definitely explore different continuous programs in your area that can provide great teamwork environments to learn and grow life skills, involvement 🤝🏾💪🏾
🔥di crown deh nice, how mi cyaa get one..
ОтветитьNo, not a weaker race, A severely damaged, traumatized culture./people. You're still on point. Great message, right on time.....Big Brother, peace
ОтветитьGreat reasoning kings, some profound statements dropped as always.
"Everyone win at different things, acknowledging that some is better than you in that area and learn from him/her"
"Every season is not your season"
I like how you mix up the topics. Lots of diversity.
ОтветитьThe interesting thing regarding this Is some studies say black boys participating in sports is actually declining.
ОтветитьProper preparation prevents piss poor performance...Although you can learn many life lessons through sports at the end of the day it's really exploitive to the kids. It's only so much you can learn about life in 4 year increments on top of the fact most of the coaches are looking out for themselves. An just because someone demeans you does not make it constructive criticism.
ОтветитьSports is great, but nothing can replace a dad in the home, which is what black boys need. These guys seem to think a good sports program can replace the nuclear family.
ОтветитьTardiness in athletic competitions builds discipline for sure! Bc when you’re late, you have to run or do something physically challenging and that helps to further hone and build your physique through strength and endurance. Even with correction and adjustments there is positive progress in the punishment
