Just read the chapter "sitting in a circle" and I couldn't help myself shedding a tear. Wish I had these insights when I was younger.. Through this book I'm reconnecting with (my) nature in a refreshing way. What a gift 🍁🌽 Thank you !

Reading braiding sweetgrass and now listening to Robin Kimmerer has brought so many grateful tears to my eyes. As an Indigenous Aboriginal woman from Australia, the things I learn and continue to learn from you are incredibly insightful, as I age I will repeatedly reread your book and never stop learning, thank you for this gift of seeing and listening.

Braiding Sweetgrass has inspired me greatly to get in touch with the natural with a deeper understanding even though I have always been in love with Nature. I also felt great grief at the losses that have been inflicted on cultures and Mother Earth that have brought us to our present damaged Earth and people. I know this book will inspire many. When we take our children to forests at an early age, they understand the wisdom of relationship and giving that Robin writes about.....at my old age now, I know that a change of consciousness is necessary to stop the destruction of the last 500 years. There is not a better earth planet in heaven....Thank you Robin.....you have helped me sleep on nights when I cry too much for this planet....I am ready to act hopeful....

I’m reading Braiding Sweetgrass now and I am loving it, savouring it actually, every chapter a revelation! I will never look at nature the same way, and I have a new found respect for indigenous peoples. If only our forefathers had the foresight to learn from them instead of trying to eradicate them...
