Kokomi has never been bad. The reason people did not use her is as simple as people equate crit to strength.

"The Best" is an exaggeration. Her ultimate is still wrong. 😑

Picked her up in her latest re-run before 4.0, having got Zhongli as my second five-star, having got going in 2.8. Given the familiarity I've gained with Rift Hounds since that beginning, it's definitely nice to have her in my pocket when Zhongli's crowned shield ain't enough.

Got kokomi on 3 pity. A d her weapon in 2 pulls i was made for her. I took her since then those heals are easy mode.

I'm glad I only started playing this game a few months ago. Without dendro and a majority of people just talking about crit rate and crit damage all the time, I would've burnt out of this game almost immediately.

I'm an OG Kokomi main. I'm happy to see Koko is getting more appreciation but honestly, you guys are just d/ckriders 💀.

I pulled for Kokomi because I got to trial her character during the game quest. This was all before I knew about the 'Kokomi can't crit' discussions that always swirled around her. All I remember is being amazed by the way she moved and floated around when she attacked, almost like a mermaid. And I thought to myself, "wow I want her simply because she's so pretty." Yesterday, she came home during my first ten pulls! 😁

Pretty new genshin player here. I would like to ask the more seasoned players if Kokomi is worth the pull? I currently only have barbara as my hydro. Is Koko going to be an abyss character for me in the future?

It was so bad (Kokomi on release) that I even complained to Mihoyo about her performance after pulling her, makes me wonder if they created or adjusted bloom/hyperbloom to fix her outside her dedicated artifact set which released after her... maybe enough people have complained about Dehya for her to get improvements in the future

If Tectone says a unit is bad. You better be sure its the best ever.

she's amazing w tenacity, ttds, like use her w ayaka and she can one shot all shit, but to me because hoyo's main plan was to make her a dps i feel like she's still the icon failure of hybrid scaling in the game, i just wish that people won't brush hoyo's problem so easily just because people found a way to make kokomi work, like clearly there's still an issue for her being a dps

At the time she wasn't what was most needed as we were in a different meta. She didn't change, just like kuki the new meta made it so brute force is no longer the only way so her kit became useful. Tho freeze was always useful but between that and pyro nukes there's a difference difference

I like Kokomi since her release cause she cute and I didn't have Mona have that time so I pulled her for hydro application in Ayaka team

I'm putting her on my kaeya's freeze team purely because Xingqiu refuses to come home. When he does, I'll switch to see who does better, then shove the remaining person onto my catalyze team to make it a hyperbloom. My poor overload team is struggling regardless though

She still has the most low pull value and is easily replaceable unit. go for better units if you are f2p.

i’ve been using her since the beginning, always loved her design and the way her ultimate works 🥹 i’m extremely happy to see her being accepted and used more often!! it’s also easier to get her artifacts due to the lack of critical damage 😌

I fell for Kokomi after her story quest, so I’d pull for her just for the high Wiafu factor. The fact she makes the game go autopilot makes her even more awesome

What I extra enjoy about watching this video after seven months is that an update video could absolutely be made to cover Kokomi's further role expansion into an offensive EM unit via Nilou teams

No need to crit with "bountiful bloom". Just stack that EM and all the HP you can scrape on the side. Grab a couple dendro units with off-field application. Congrats, you now have a Nilou-loaded Kokopuff bloom cannon

I should still be happy that people are finally seeing Kokomi for how good she really is.

Kokomi's been one of my faves from the start, and I'm glad that I can use her in a lot more teams now. I also remember my first ever 5 star being a Qiqi when I lost the 50-50 on her banner 💀

Never have I seen her useless day one got her by accident built her as heal still is but someone she works with the random characters I have on my team

Kokomi is probably (up to now) the best hyperbloom hydro character there is since she applies long and short range hydro + heals your team the best

Kazuha and Kokomi's change in usage is proof that you should never take tier lists seriously. Both were memed for being bad characters (remember when Kokomi's Chinese VA was harrassed?) and suddenly, all the people who hated on either of them suddenly shut up and pretended like they never hated them in the first place.

I got kokomi on her first rerun and I have never regretted it since. She has been my go to for any team that needs a healer, and when my bennet is already being used on another team. Her offield hydro application is crazy, and her healing is insane, she is the first character I put into any bloom/hyperbloom team I create, besides for maybe nahida.

Genshin when a new characters come be like

first stage: judgement
second stage: hate
3rd stage idk
4th stage realization that its actually very good and everyone starts to realizes the purpose of skills and bursts

Kokomi always was and likely will continue to be, "Someone I won't seek out, but wouldn't mind showing up if she happens to be featured with someone else"
Like, say, Childe. If, for whatever reason, they were featured on the same banner- I wouldn't complain if a Kokomi or 2 showed up in my rolls.

However, I don't exactly play Genshin myself so that's never mattered. You gotta play before you can roll.

with kazuhas buff, my kokomi can hit 12-13k normals no crit (about 8-9k no kazuha) and not to mention healing 7.8k health per jellyfish pulse, and passive damage through clam set??? She offers so much and does so much good, but people still think shes trash for some reason smh
