Trying my hand at these. Simple, I was bluffing. My uncle was a salesperson and he taught me how to bluff. I was stalling for time while I think of something clever. Anyway for a real answer, I think if the number of divisors is even the lockers will be closed, and if it is odd they will be open, so the lockers that will be open will be:

1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100

Edit: And the bluff paid off! Don't know how I didn't realise all these numbers were perfect squares. I did it through brute force (I used the table of divisors on Wikipedia).

It just takes 1 other persion in your family to know how to use logic or math, and this whole plan fails.

This doesn't solve the initial problem. Just because the little girl solved the puzzle doesn't mean they won't pester her. You can steal 600 dollars you can just disappear, when you still 600 million they will find you unless they think you are already dead, to quote Hans Gruber. So the solution would have been to give every relative a locker he has to open alone. Then nobody would know who has the money and they would all pester each other. Basically turn the whole scenario into The Thing.

Seems I misunderstood the methodology, i assumed each touched each locker then thought “oh even numbers would be closed” even after rewatching the question.
