ОтветитьI think I’ve figured out the whole “elephants being afraid of mice” thing. Elephants, or so I’ve heard, are very protective of their feet, to the point of not even wanting to step on ping pong balls. Stepping on something small could cause a great amount of damage for a beast with unprotected feet.
ОтветитьR.I.P. Verna Felton (1890-1966) (Eloise), Barbara Jo Allen (1906-1974) (Goliath II's Mother), J. Pat O'Malley (1904-1985) (Goliath I), Paul Frees (1920-1986) (The Mouse), Sterling Holloway (1905-1992) (Narrator) and Kevin Corcoran (1949-2015) (Goliath II).
ОтветитьAn elephant never forgets
ОтветитьIt’s 31 years since sterling holloway died
ОтветитьRest in peace to sterling Holloway 1905-1992 you will be sadly missed
ОтветитьI'm many folks who first saw this were surprised to see TICK-TOCK-CROC making a cameo role in this. Speculation would find that in his pursuit of Captain Hook at the end of Peter Pan, he took a wrong turn somewhere & ended up here. You might say in the pattern similar to Warner Bros BUGS BUNNY, it appears TICK-TOCK-CROC took a wrong turn in Albuquerque, NM as well.
ОтветитьBefore there was Jungle Book, there was this. More like a pilot. Amazing, this could have been a short film before Jungle Book started.
ОтветитьWinnie the Pooh, Mr Stork, Chechiere Cat, Kaa, Adult Flower and Roqufort are taking turns narrating.
ОтветитьGeewhiz, I think that Goliath the 2nd should've stayed within his mama's womb for about another year cause he is too small for his size because elephant calves stay within their mother's womb for up to two years that's like being pregnant with a unborn human baby for up to two years meaning that when a elephant mother gives birth to her calf it would be fully dependent and fully well delovoped when born out into the world by it's own mother that's like a human mother giving birth to a fully dependent and fully delovoped twelve year old kid.
ОтветитьWhy Is Goliath Is Small?
ОтветитьPaul Frees' performance as the mouse is insanely spectacular.
ОтветитьHaven’t seen it until now
ОтветитьI remember watch this in a Mother's Day Special awhile back and I couldn't remember the name but I'm glad to finally find it.
ОтветитьEpic movie
ОтветитьI've never even HEARD of this movie until now
ОтветитьWhy did we have to make part 2 did David not take care of the giant in part one?
ОтветитьGoliath ll like The Jungle Book but on back 1960
ОтветитьThis was written and storyboarded by Bill Peet, who did the same for 101 Dalmatians and The Sword in the Stone. The man had a unique style that's easy to see! I first knew of him through his iconic childrens' books.
ОтветитьI remember seeing that tiger in another Disney short.
ОтветитьGood 👍👍👍
ОтветитьRaja: Tigger’s homeless cousin
ОтветитьNot the spanking with the stick lol

ОтветитьHe could easily get buried in 💩!
ОтветитьThere was a Warner Bros cartoon before this, Punch Trunk, about a similarly small elephant who caused alarm and curiosity in the big city.
Then there was Dr Seuss' Horton who wasn't small, but helped save the tiny folks in Whoville .
As if poor little Goliath knows anything about the elephant law. Besides, he's only a child, and they scorned him. And what would the other elephants care anyway? They don't even like him, and the don't even want him around. Not even his own father.
ОтветитьI'm currently 18, and I still remember watching this story when I was a boy. It was one of my favorites.
