This doesn't make sense. ON this video he suggests to stick with a 4 cylinder, but on another video, he says to avoid it.

The 4.0 inline 6 put out in Chrysler products was as good as any Toyota 4 cylinder engine and they did away with it.🙄 The inline 6 in my old Ford Truck was also bullet proof.

Buy a mazda bravo 2.6l inline four b2600 g6 will do a million miles ...working miles and then some mean while the Toyotas are all over to the left rusting away

I have a toyota straight 6 1jz ge, love it, I also have a 4cylinder 1nz fe for gas mileage, but for me I say 6 cylinder is fun, cant compare with 4 in terms of fun, assuming same displacement and technology

To change the spark plugs on my v6 all I needed was a swivel 😂 them v4s too slow merging on highway.

MY 2000 TOYOTA CAMRY CE 5 SPEED. Has 1.4 million KM on it and still kicking and still producing 136 HP. Nothing is built better than a Toyota the only flaw in a toyota is the Nut behind the steering wheel.

I have a 2006 Corolla since new 185k . Getting ready to do some upgrades so I can drive it a while longer- radiator, motor mounts, struts, etc. The only reason I would want a six cylinder is for just a little more weight in the car when it’s snowing. Lol

Here in California you need a V6 and up those 4 cylinders always causing traffic in the Tejón pass and get me started with those lousy Hondas and Nissan 4 cylinders

Wish i knew this before i got my RAV4 recently, but it's still a great car.

Still a little confusing why 6 cylinder more powerful then 4 cylinder. At each period of time in any engines 4; 6 or 8 cyl. spark happens only in one cylinder at a time. It means that more important size of individual piston rather then combine volume of cylinders. 2.4L 4 cyl. engine makes displacement volume of each cylinder =0.6 liter. In case of bigger size 3.0L V6 engine each cylinder will push only 0.5Liter. So if each single cylinder has spark one at a time and push crank shaft one after another, then 0.6L cylinder in 4 cylinder engine should produce more power then 0.5L single piston in 6 cyl. engine.

Remove the restrictor plate that prevents more gas and air flow under the intake manifold and throttle body it's a piece of metal with holes adjust and tune the entire engine to run like that get a super charger and turbo both then you will have more power for a 4 cylinder 2.0 engine and get water methanol injection for the engine it will run more cooler and the engine will be more cleaner and not have as much carbon deposits

Toyotas 2grfe v6 which has been used for over 15 years is super reliable and strong. If you want that extra muscle and quickness you can't go wrong with it. Plus toyota made problematic 4 cyl in the mid 2000s while thier v6 was going and still is going strong. Thier 4 cyl had to be redesigned

As u grow old u go to the more economical side. If this video was shot somewhere in 90s then scotty would probably recommend a v6 or turbocharge engine to the audience.
