Can this be used on interior black piano plastics and carbon fiber?

My Yamaha YAS-93 soundbar is piano black and is covered in swirls.

I have a new Denali Ultimate with the Vador Chrome and its got some scratches of the chrome grill (but its really a plastic chrome). Would you suggest this method on that material as well? Thanks and great channel by the way! Lots of really good info!

Great video Pan! Just one quick follow up. I have a BMW x5 with m sport pro pack and the black window gloss is gone grayish (looks to be discoloured from UV). I was considering getting those parts wrapped for permanent black gloss but would this method also restore the colour as well as remove scratches? Big hello from Ireland 🇮🇪

I got some light scratches in the piano-black plastic on the drivers side B pilar on BMW 530i (G30) after opening the drivers door a little to much in the wrong place. after trying to search online for a solution and not finding anything useful, I gambled on using some Autoglym Super resin polish and a foam applicator and microfibre towel.. Didn't dare use a machine, but I managed to remove almost all the scratches/marks by hand.. But it sure would have been good to have had this video then..

Great demo, is there any point in using a more aggressive pad and/or polish? Or would this just be overkill on the black plastics like this? Tried with an all in one combo polish/compound product and still had some swirls left at the end.. take it I just need to step it down to a lighter pad and finishing polish? Thanks.

How would you get rid of or hide the craze cracking on a Ford fusion or escape? Mine is all cracked could I fill it with a solvent then polish?

I found the perfect Chemical: Flitz Polish for metal, plastic and fiberglass, it is kind of expensive @ $13.50 for 7 Oz, but the liquid form only takes 1-2 drops per pillar. It is a polish and claims nonabrasive, but it must have some very, very fine abrasives in it. It made my pillars look like clear mirrors after just a very light circular application with microfiber towel and a quick buff before it dries with a second microfiber towel. They do make cream that will probably work on deeper scratches, but for everyday swirls marks it works great. did all the pillars and mirrors on a Lincoln SUV in 20 minutes start to finish with a spray wet ceramic protectant. Just have plenty of clean microfiber cloths and a spray bottle of water to wet before applying wet spray ceramic protectant. I used Turtle Hybrid as it is good on any non-porous surface. Remember this plastic is soft and, in most case, has little to none clear coat,
the less pressure the better the results, no real pressure while rubbing needed.

I have a couple vehicles that have that shiny gloss front end it’s like a grill guard tho and Every time I wash it it clears up the cloudiness but then when it dries it comes right back any idea on how to fix that it’s really time consuming when I’m there trying ti clean every little crevasse and sometimes is hard to even reach anything in there.

Is this just a new look bottle but same polish...because it seems the cutting is 4 and gloss is 6 like the one shown in your video, just a slightly dif looking bottle..also if I'm doing both sides of the cars b pillars ,Is it necessaryto buy more than one of the polishing pads? I bought a home and it look like someone used Brillo pad to clean the shiny black plastic face plate where the knobs and buttons are. It’s really scratched. Would what you just did to the car work on the stove?
