Any tips Kristina? I just started as Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman for Private Capital (mostly demanding private equity clients, sigh). Been 3 weeks now, its been hard to figure out this lifestyle. I've not slept for 7 hours/day since this job (due to 15 hour+ workdays, and 1 day weekend)...And this is without traveling (for now). I am NOT looking forward to traveling at all with how tiring it seems based on your videos...i can't imagine on top of 15-hour+ workdays (since PE diligences are super tight 2 to 4-week bursts), i'd have to go on trains, take meetings during transit looking down on a laptop on my lap. Or sitting at a tiny table (i'm tall so any non height adjustable table is tiny haha), looking at at tiny 13 inch laptop without a monitor. I think i will literally end up in the hospital. I don't know how the hell i'm going to deal with travelling when theres 8 hours of meetings and then 8 more hours of work mixed with checkpoints with managers and then still TRAVEL???? i just can't see it happening...Maybe hours are longer due to COVID / WFH, but i really don't think that's the case...none of these tasks could have been accelerated any faster in person
