He cares about "humanity" but doesn't give much thought to individual humans.

Out of curiosity ive done most endings, but for me, NCR is really the better choice.

I think we can all agree independent Vegas is the best ending, mainly because if you have high enough speech you can spare the NCR and they won't fight you or the securitrons. Essentially the courier becomes a sovereign leader and hopefully brokered peace with NCR and kicked out the legion.

Realistically a competent and enlightened dictator like house would be OP in the real world. The main weakness of dictatorships historically has been coups and succession crisis's. Many kings and leaders through history have had their achievements undone because of incompetent successors or unclear succession. The political instability of regime change is the main drawback of this system and that is mitigated by houses immortality. War is bad for business so house would promote peace. Everything house doesn't do on his own that he delegates is contracted and done in the most efficient way he allows the free market to take place in his domain that drives down the price of goods and services. This promotes peace a high quality of life and skilled individuals migrating to his free economic zone promoting development. The lack of bickering factions that exist in representative governments prevent corruption and disunity being promoted by the outside ie Caesar. Everything is managed like a business meaning ppl are promoted based on merit and not popularity. The use of the army of robots is good because they answer directly to him and don't have to worry about moral and loyalty. The threat of these robots combined with positive encouragement from the top down will cause the human factions to obey and go along to get along also promoting peace and cooperation.

with mr house he strives for the future and getting mankind into space he kills off variables that interfere with that plan and like you said he will only do so if your within a reasonable distance to new vegas he would mostly leave everyone else alone in his plan to shoot for the stars

NCR= same old enclave and corruption. Mr. House proven himself even if he only keeps new vegas he only has so much resources and with him in charge the NCR will still exist and rule the surrounding area. This guy did lay it on hard in the beginning with the pros for the NCR, making obvious he was going to pick the same corrupt government platform that nuked the world.

even thought its not like a true ending I really like the idea of the divide spreading throughout new vegas, forcing everyone to put uo their flags and work together against the horrors of the divide.

I feel like almost all of the criticism of the NRC can be leveled against Mr House and the Legion doesn't seem to have much in the way of an economy.

My ideal ending? Mr House becomes an NCR citizen, but retains his autonomy: He gets their army acting as a speed bump for any hostile force, as well as a whole country of employees and customers. The NCR gets first dibs to purchace any tech he re-introduces, which would only make them stronger. The Legion is a dead man walking. The Enclave is regularly ganged-up on by the rest of the Wasteland once they show their true colors. Not to mention being the decendants of the gov't that screwed the world in the first place is enough to make people hate them. The BoS is dying, like the Legion, but slower. The Wasteland is slowly rebuilding and will move-on with or without them. If the Mojave chapter tries to confiscate anything Mr House re-introduces, I could see him making use of all the concrete at Quarry Junction and giving Hidden Valley the Vault 21 treatement.

I don't like the word "Xenophobic". It's seems to be a hypocrite of a word. To be Xenophobic IS to recognize the differences and to respect those differences but not to tolerate. To be "Inclusive" is to IGNORE those differences and assume we are all the same and believe or not is not tolerant. "Tolerance" is more the right word an then again is more of a blend of meaning. You might tolerate someone elses identity but might not agree or be apart of it. You might tolerate and agree or be apart of that some else's identity. Tolerance is to recognize the difference and to make the choice from there to be a part of or not to be a part of, but regardless, not to eradicate. To fear Xenophobia is to fear recognition of these differences.

You know a big romaboo as soon as I saw the legion I was disgusted. Ceacar did not build anything, no beauty in his architecture. No love for the mathematics , and most importantly no understanding of sciences. He was literally the failed version of the great julios, I can't stand him, ceasar was loved by his people. He lead his men through respect and in the field of campaign.

Also to add about Mr house, if you actually do his with evil karma YOU are what he fears. You are his deterrent, just a cool little thing. He keeps you happy only to make sure he's not next.
