So sad to see that it didn't work out yesterday, but RnG in EU4 is oftentimes completely unpredictable, hence the winner usually is the one who's strategy can best adapt to the ridiculous curveballs the game throws at you

It is a high-potential strategy, and hats off to you for attempting it. However, having played Latin Empire a few times, friendly AI sometimes throws the Ottoman War, as you found out yesterday.

I think habibi concluded it well in postmatch interview - less RNG = better strat in these kind of challenges.

Sad that the RNG was really bad for you in the game against Habibi. Third place is going to be tough against Zlewwik but I think you can do it. But even if you did beat Habibi, you would have probably lost against Florry. He is like the Magnus Karlsen of the game
