ОтветитьA simple and nonsensical song with the aid of a harmonica somehow got to be popular. Not to say it's special. just simple and nonsensical if you listen to the words.

The Sky Too Is Folding Because Of You
The fragmented world we live in now, will never be able to give birth to someone so sure of himself to write something like this. Well I guess something different we'll hope for, or better struggle ourselves to make it 🙏
ОтветитьMy Dad passed away a few weeks ago. This song was his requested for the moment his coffin was going through the curtains into the fire.
What a great sense of humour.
Love you Dad, miss you already
south park rules! pfffffrrrrrrt!
ОтветитьA versão de Engenheiros do Hawai fica bem próxima da original
ОтветитьBaby blue😢
ОтветитьWhose the women in 😂🎉🎉red❤
ОтветитьNo Brasil há uma versão dessa música, " negro amor" Humberto Gesinger....very cool
ОтветитьDylan's singing and lyrics are sublime, but so too is upright bass of Bill Lee who collaborated with Dylan (and many other musicans including Woody Guthrie) on several projects. His bass line reminds me of fragrant wood smoke curling its way through the song, giving it extra character and emotional weight. To me it sounds like autumn. Lee died this spring of 2023. He was 94. I'll mourn the day when Dylan's name is added to that list.
ОтветитьWhat can you say that hasn't been said?
ОтветитьHorrible voice
ОтветитьThis goes out to all you fine infantryman of past and present . Best of the best
Ответить💫🎼
ОтветитьI was since my fist time! 🎉
ОтветитьI'm 77 and hadn't heard this song for decades. Was at a Sam Grisham Project concert this summer and couldn't make out the lyrics, but it was so familiar! Then the dime dropped...
ОтветитьSomeone noted that this song would have been a great ending to 'Breaking Bad' . . I think they have something there. I bet Gilligan and crew considered it.
Ответитьsuch a smart writer.
Ответитьi think this might be my favorite song by Dylan
ОтветитьOne of many classics from Dylan's oeuvre. Back to back with Them's great version.
ОтветитьYou must leave, now take what you need
You think will last
But whatever you wish to keep
You better grab it fast
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun
Crying like a fire in the Sun
Look out baby, the saints are comin' through
And it's all over now, baby blue
The highway is for gamblers
Better use your sense
Take what you have gathered
From coincidence
The empty handed painter from your streets
Is drawing crazy patterns on your sheets
The sky too is fallin' in over you
And it's all over now, baby blue
Leave your stepping stones behind
There's something that calls for you
Forget the debt you've left
That will not follow you
Your lover who has just walked through the door
Has taken all his blankets from the floor
The carpet too is foldin' over you
And it's all over now baby blue
Well, strike another match
Yeah, go start new, go start new
'Cause it's all over now, baby blue
Hey, hey, yeah
It's all over, it's all over now, baby blue
It's all, it's all over now, oh yeah
It's all over now, all over now, baby blue
Bob Dylan seen the future when he said “The vagabond who’s rapping at your door is standing in the clothes that you once wore”. “It’s all over now baby blue” Bob Dylan 1965. This is what I see when I see the illegal aliens wearing Nike shoes on NYC streets while waiting for his hotel room dinner being prepared for him. Yes, it’s all over now baby blue.
ОтветитьAmazing that vans version has so much more passion and depth whereas the original was already so beautiful. Reminds me of first time I ever saw your face.. flqcks had no resemblance to the plaintive original lol
ОтветитьYes it is. Everything is loss.
ОтветитьWhen I was in Woodstock, NY, in September 2001, somebody showed me a room and said that Bob Dylan had lived in there. I didn't know, if it's true and if this guy only liked to entertain me, but at that moment this room had got a special aura of that time about the 60th - very mysterious!
🥰I love Bob Dylon and his songs!
Mans a genius
ОтветитьDid you know that Bob Dylan had Autism?
ОтветитьI felt like singing it out loud gave it an understanding to the song and drew me closer to the songwrite
ОтветитьOne of my favourite melodies by him, or anyone.
