im currently a teenager. my birthday is coming up soon and my first possible job in catering is starting up. i take a vacation to the beach with my family every year and i feel that im privileged. but when the comments say it was back when being a teenager was good, it makes me sad. now im more insecure. i have more worries and less friends. it all changed when i moved but thats understandable. i miss my old friends, but i still love life. i may have insecurities, but that doesnt stop me from having fun. that doesnt stop me from being happy, it just stops be from being the happiest. but im still happy. and something is always better than nothing.

Summer of '13 was 10 years ago, I feel so fcking old. I was 13 yo kid, now I'm 23, it happened so fast.

There is a psychological effect, that let's us see the past in a better light than it actually was. Many people look back and think "better times" but that it not always true. Think about it, next times, when you dont want to move on and just go back.

However, Music was freakin better back then. Until like 2017 at least. Nowdays it's so much crap. I really tried to give it a chance, but it's just horrible. Arrogant singers who sing about cheating on their partners or hookups. No wonder Gen Z is called the doomer gen, its depressing.

But seriously, this playlist is so good. 2013 was the year I lost my mom, and I was super young, so my dad always played songs like this when we went on drives or cleaned the house. So it's nice to hear them all in one playlist with a car in the background lol, even if it's sad.
