On Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, Bishop Joseph G. Hanefeldt and Mr. Jordan Engle, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Grand Island visited Prince of Peace catholic church in Kearney, Nebraska; Bishop celebrated Mass for the students from Kearney Catholic High School, while Mr. Engle announced the yearly donation amount that was given by an anonymous donor to Kearney Catholic.
