It looks better than the Stonic, and it’s the most compact car you can buy which is both automatic and 4wd. So it’s a “buy” for those who live in the country side and are looking for a reliable little runner.

Fun fact, Kona means vagina in Portuguese if you replace the k with c!

I bought one and the are fantastic, apart from the Hard interior.

Hyundai copied the hold Honda cars, Honda = GL-I Hyundai = GD-I they just replaced D instead of L

The full spec is better since its screen is way bigger , (if 2021) it has leather seating ,sunroof

He got it so wrong with his judgement of the styling. The Kona looks fantastic on the road - small, chunky, distinctive and quite attractive. The Stonic is just another anonymous blob - I can't remember the last time I noticed one.

Can you please help me I am looking for a moblity car for a friend and they want a 4x4 with good boot space and none scratchy scratchy interior what do you recomend

2022 and I bought this new in 2019. Made a bad decision.
Inside cab is loud as hell while driving, always feels like a window is cracked.
Sound system is a joke.
Bought because of long warranty but going on year 3 and few things have gone wrong and what do you know, not covered beyond 2 years even though 5 year bumper to bumper warranty claim.

You guys downvoted the video back in 2018, which is quite understandable I might add, but now carwow reviews almost exclusively cars that the average person cant afford like Ferraris, Mercedes, Audis :D

Kona in portuguese stands for "pussy"... so Portugal its the only country where you can find the hyundai kona with a diferent name : hyundai kauai

I'm lucky.....if that's what you want to call it, but we have 6 or 7 Kona's on our company car fleet and I've driven them all. They are hideously dull, but functionally capable. Until they hit around 60k miles, then all of them rattle and creak like a wardrobe being thrown down the stairs.

When you consider that a decently specced one will cost you as much as a Mazda CX30 with a little judicious haggling....I know which I'd put my money on.

Matt if you try the new kona elite 1.6 turbo I'm very sure you'll have great things to say about it,
Maybe you should get a few other small SUV and try and beat the kona 1.6 turbo 😍

Also being Asian it'll outlast the warranty by 999999999 years

I must say i have to agree with matt the stonic is way better looking than the kona and has a better warranty i like hyundais but i have to agree with him

It's actually amazing. Boring is good. Less stuff to worry about.
