RIP IN PEACE LAYNE AND ALL THE FALKEN ONES ⚜️😢🥺❤
ОтветитьRemember the 70s were a completely different time than today Much more dope many bands used it tragically but that's how it was Just that Layne showed up to that concert instead of arranging more dope is absolutely fantastic Alice in Chains is for me the greatest the band I know so tragically that he died Hyller Layne yes the whole group ❤️🙏
ОтветитьAlice in Chains what a great fucking band had some great songs to bad they aren't still around
ОтветитьLayne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell. This is why we need to worship God-Christ, NOT music or musicians. I did it (all this music I lived it), but turned to Christ when He called me. He’s calling you guys my friends, fellow children of God. Layne even calls on God in this song. But you don’t make it with God unless you turn fully to the the most radical love and death - Christ. Turn to Christ, read about Him, Bible - Matthew chapters 5-6. The actual WHOLE Bible is about Christ, just a clue. You need to get full body- baptized, He saves you and you are with God for eternity, not tortured for eternity. It’s ALL true. He found me. I said yes. He finds everyone but you have to open the door when He knocks and read about Him. Like NOW.
ОтветитьI love the part where they snuff that rooster

Ответить😢it's sad to relive which concerns my being in deep.
ОтветитьIt's complicated to understand myself own awearness in all. Glorisou times are here and growing like the pedals of a black rose seeded, planted and dying.
ОтветитьThis was the best song that was unfortunately a day late and a dollar short
ОтветитьHats off to the Vets. If we never went to Vietnam, would America be worse off? Sadly no. Good men fight for the weak who put them in harms way.

ОтветитьOne of my favorite Karaoke go-tos. I fkn belt this shit. I hope Layne Staley watches me perform while he's in heaven for this masterpiece, and is proud of me. :( We have same first and last name initials. Closest I'll ever be to knowing him
ОтветитьMr Cantrell and Junior are a spitting image of each other. Especially the older Jerry gets.

ОтветитьMy Dad is a Vietnam vet and I followed in his footsteps in places like Somalia and the Sandbox. Most of the guys I served with in Somalia were also the sons of Vietnam vets and this song still takes me back to that exact place 30 years ago.
ОтветитьMy grandfather was in world War 2 he never talked about it but I'm sure this song on point
ОтветитьThis song reminds me of Seans Penn movie Casualties of War

ОтветитьMy Combat Engineer big brother went to Vietnam in 66 as the advance party for his deploying division from Ft. Riley. He made it out a year after but had PTSD for a few years after that.

My husband was in Vietnam from ‘65 to ‘69. 101st Airborne, a Screaming Eagle. Their patches was an eagle head. Since the Vietnamese had never seen an eagle before, they called them roosters.
