I think Ings would thrive in a high possession Loppy system, he is a very good player. I suppose selling him would be a strategic move to get his huge salary off the books, I really like the player though.

If it takes Danny Ings 20 seconds to run 100 metres and it takes Guilherme 10 seconds, that would make Guilherme twice as fast as Danny ings! He could give Inns a 9 second start and still get there before him!

Moyes was quick to tell us he had the final say on transfers and even if he didnt identify Ings and it turns out Danny was a Sullivan/Salthouse gift, Moyes certainly didnt veto the move or play to his strengths when he had him. I think he's gonna go this summer, the Euros could help get us a decent fee 🙏🏼 that with Aguerd (who I'd love to stay but won't) likely to go, Zouma (comes up Zumba on predicted text but doubt he could do that) being broken and unlikely to be able to play 1st team next season, I agree it's unlikely we'll get a fee for him so if Coufal goes too our defence which needed a lot of attention will need even more - even Emerson is rumoured to be interested in going back to Italy 😢 hopefully Johnson signs soon ⚒️

It seems to have stalled somewhat and beginning to look like every other window where we start to panic buy. Too many players on our radar .....not enough positive vibes coming from Tim....really excited about our one signing but seemingly we are wanting another 6 or 7 and I'm resigned to the fact that they won't get done and more will leave than come in....I do hope I'm wrong previous windows have battered me into submission....

Soucek is good in both boxes, particularly at dead ball situations (free kicks, corners etc). I’d give him a go at Centre Half, its a position we need covering. I believe he’s played there before, though I could be wrong on that one. We would then only need to buy one Centre Half not two.

Any fee and getting rid of his wages is a bonus. £6m isn't alot but £120k/wk is. That'll be better utilised paying for Samu, although we now have Chelsea on the case!

The thing about Soucek is he will absolutely die for you, he will run and run till his last breath. Players like him are rare. If not playing him in midfield then maybe we should use him as a centre-back backup where he has played before. I’m not a massive fan but when you need to send on a Dawson-esque warhorse to tackle on the trenches, you could do a lot worse than Soucek.
