I played it on PC and it was running well, sure there are some sections where the game lags, stutters like some plantoid planets, but I have seen bigger games with bigger issues.. Starfield is probably the most polished game Bethesda released so far.

How many systems are in play? Yo I want this game to be good so bad but I can't do it

Starfield is incredibly empty or boring, outside of the poorly written repetitive quests. And don’t get me started on the BORING, predictable main quest. I have zero desire to finish anything I start in this game, yet I continue playing. Because there’s nothing better to play and gaming currently blows like a wet fart.

My pc could not play it and I can play Cyberpunk 2077 on max settings so not optimized

About the "it's got allot going on in it" he meant that with its size of 130gig there is allot to do in it... and you better engage with shipbuilding and outpost building even though it is not required and you are just supposed to run through the story multiple times to reach max level.

In Todd’s defense it’s really hard to answer when it’s asked that way. Saying it’s not optimized can be interpreted in many ways. Sure, the fps isn’t representative of a well optimized game for the visual quality we are looking at, but it’s playable, has good settings for pc and controls well. It’s not optimized well, but it is optimized. Bethesda is under no obligation to make the game playable on old hardware, and why would they? Because they’re a nice company? Please. Nvidia, intel and amd are probably happy there is another reason for people to buy new hardware so they won’t complain, as long as it runs well on current available hardware they’re happy.
Welcome to capitalism, deal with it or wait for modders to optimize it.
