You must be so rich and happy
ОтветитьA lot of people don’t realize how good we have it. Infrastructure is amazing
ОтветитьGreat stuff. Also - chlorine is often used as the disinfectant, rather than Ozone or UV light.
ОтветитьPerfect Work this country Pulambing work 👍😇 How are a Plumbing Jon 👍🇵🇰
ОтветитьThat awful lofi music is royalty free for a reason. Unwatchable.
Ответить"Activated carbon" is nothing but regular carbonized material that is washed- yes, washed.
Meaning, you do not have dust particles in them.
Just take your barbecue coal and wash it with distilled demineralized water and VIOLA- you "activated" your carbon..
You see water towers everywhere, but far fewer sewage treatment plants and always near a water source. Is the whole system interconnected, or might a city have several different water supplies and sewage treatment plants?
ОтветитьWow!
Excellent vide. Great info.
This video must be shown in the schools to students to understand the peocess. It will help them from childhood to understand & responsible use of water in the first place & not to mix things into the water which makes process exhausted. Thank you for uploading.
Not to forget that flour and calcium are aded to the water to help with people's health regarding teeth and bones.
ОтветитьWho the hell throws egg shells to the toilet/drain? people do that in US?
ОтветитьAmazing, simply amazing. What happened in Michigan?
ОтветитьIs there an addatives part to it as well like with flouride?
ОтветитьThank you so much. Excellent video.
ОтветитьHi. I've been feeling quite bad about myself over the past year, having just gotten out of a terrible 3 year work cycle / rut that had me basically enslaved to my freelance job. I finished my work and am taking time off to recover. One thing i was always interested in is learning how the world works in the most basic sense. Infastructure, city systems, urban design, econ, shipping, how stuff gets around and moves and how modern society functions mechanically.
This video was absolutely excellent. I saved it. If you do one on electricity and electrical grid, or airports, or anything in that vein, know you'll have at least one viewer :)
Imagine god seeing this after he made the most complex water filtration system imaginable. Fully loaded with spring water that is packed full of minerals that your body needs to function at peak efficiency.
Fun fact: If you drink 100% pure water it will cause cells in your body to explode because your cells have a high salt concentration. And when pure water surrounds them the salt will rush out to this desalinated water causing the cell to expand and explode.
So yeah…. God had it right to begin with you silly humans.
not me pumping shit in a river in cities skylines
ОтветитьI live in Fort Worth Texas area. Why do you think our water from time to time smell and taste like musty clay? or earthy as the city calls it?
Ответить👍
ОтветитьTank so much for these very helpfull infarmations
ОтветитьGoing back to flocculation, is the material that comes out at that step discarded or does it get separated and recycled?
Ответитьso there is virtually no chemical is being added into city tap water, so why do people complain about fluoride and other crap?
ОтветитьIf the danish government i s it bugger them up.
It is mine!😁👍
You should have shown a chlorinated system, as that's the most common.
Ответитьty
ОтветитьI'd love to have a second part of that, going into why some nations/countrys have perfeclty drinking water from the tap and others, while still running purification plants, don't have that.
Actually i didn't know that, and i saw some problem in f.e. the US with tap water being contaminated with chemicals from groundworks etc., so it seems a part of the processing has been missed out.
This was quite helpful.... Easy to comprehend. To the creator of this video .... God bless you and increase you . Thank you for taking time to make this. Cheers
ОтветитьAmazing channel.
ОтветитьPublic drinking water is one of the most underrated parts of civil society. It often costs metered users less than a penny per gallon in the U.S. and there are many ways to get it for free. For most of human history, access to clean drinking water was out of the question, or sporadic at best. Everyone should have a right to clean, publicly supplied water.
ОтветитьThese are superb videos. I'm hugely impressed.
ОтветитьI will never complain about my water bill again!
ОтветитьI used to work in a gold processing mill. We used a clarifier as well. "Preg" (water pregnant with gold particles) would flow over the top and would be combined with zinc, in a vacuum, to recover the gold.
ОтветитьPerfect video with excellent detail. Thank you
ОтветитьIs this where they add fluoride and other harmful chemicals?
ОтветитьI would like to ask which stage is the first in water purification? Is it screening or filtration
ОтветитьWe can do better.
ОтветитьThis topic has never been more interesting to learn about for me. Thanks!
ОтветитьWell in theory this should get rid of all of the pollutants in the water but it does not when you actually check the faucet water. Likely due to just huge amount of volume of water which can't be filtered adequately by the city system, or it accurate toxins in the pipes.
ОтветитьGreat: editing, animation, research, voiceover, information and overall vibe! Concise and yet well detailed.
ОтветитьIts amazing we aren't all sick all the time. I really thought they did more to purify the water instead of just stirring it around and blowing on it.
ОтветитьAs someone who knew nothing about water treatment plants I can confirm this is absolutely correct
ОтветитьMajor “Reading Rainbow” vibes here. Sometimes your voice even sounded like Levar Burton. Excellent. ❤
ОтветитьSINCERELY YOUR'S CHARLETNEWTON
ОтветитьWhy is the water never boiled?
ОтветитьBruh, I certainly appreciate your researching efforts. I use to think that tap water was unsafe to drink. But after watching this video, I may be having 2nd thoughts.
ОтветитьThis channel is amazing. Love the most recent video on 18th century ships. Keep up the good work, thank you for teaching me so much! My mind has been blown many times, seeing just how much goes into some things.
ОтветитьAwesome channel!
ОтветитьMy father owned a carbon mill that provided carbon for municipalities for the final filtration process for taste and odor control. He started it on a five way partnership of 10 grand each to get it up and running. He bought out his partners and sold to Calgon for millions and retired at 50 years old. I was a millwright and enjoyed the experience from start to end.
ОтветитьThey add polymer!! Means every water plant/ country has it’s own recipe 😭😭😂😂
Ответить
