Simone had the better mind and her work stands up better over time. Sartre had a bigger ego and loved to hang with Picasso and Dali. De Beauvoir was an introvert.😊

They were unhappy. They lost intimacy between them. Instead of hug and kiss they shook hands or gave a head nod

They also predated on minors. Simone helped her husband Sartre to commit SA on young female students, she coerced the young women to be with him. Don't romanticize predators.
