Rameau - Suite from the opera "Les Boréades" (Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Paul Goodwin)

This was eye opening for me! I have long been in the HIP circles and suspicious of Rameau et al. played by orchestras who mostly use modern-style instruments. BUT, you can see that they have paid so much attention to their techniques! And that alone provides those pure tones that truly let Rameau's masterful harmonies sing!

Seeing more awareness of historical techniques in music education could do so much to revive interest in Baroque music in the USA! This restored some optimism in my heart. Thank you for sharing
