I've been trying to figure out people's cult like following for apple for years. I have an android phone; why does every apple user have to bash me and convince me to join their cult? Then I remembered these commercials and realized this was all a brainwashing campaign to convince all users that their product was the absolute coolest thing on the market, they had to have one, and that the other guy was totally uncool and out of touch. Now I understand why apple cultists hate us Androids so much and always trying to get us to join the cult.

After being a Android User since they first came out finally switching to Apple I will say the apple is better in a lot of ways you don't have to constantly repeat yourself and retype things on to speaking software like you do with Google billion dollar Corporation can't even get a speech software develop that understands people and apple is a lot more secure I still use an Android tablet for bootleg things but that's about it now as far as computing I have to use a PC because the video editing software I use is not compatible with any of the Mac chips soon as it gets developed I will probably be switching to Mac

Mac: Oh, well, it's good that you're, well, free and all, but everything's standardized with me.
Linux: Sure, so says the system that shackles its users and that keeps them in a virtual nanny state! (insert a vampire hiss here)
PC: I'm at least a little more free in that respect; people can build me using whatever parts they want. Sure, drivers are mostly proprietary but in the end, each Clone user knows his PC best. It's kind of touching, in a sense.
Linux: Hah, you Windows shill!
PC: Some people might need proprietary programs, you know, or have them imposed on them by network admins. Plus, I can run a lot of FOSS projects, too. Here's a drawing I made in GIMP!
Mac: Yeah, um - users have to kind of wipe my brain and turn me into a Linux machine before so much as thinking to run FOSS software on me.

GNU/Linux would make both these guys look like wimps. It is not difficult to see why Apple did not invite him. These advertisements are just a competition for second place. Actually, not even that, because FreeBSD and OpenBSD are better as well. And on top of that, GNU/Linux is not a system but a large group of systems. And then there are mention non-GNU systems like Alpine which are also better. Even FreeDOS is better in a sense because it at least respects the user's privacy and freedom.
I guess these guys are competing for second-to-last place.

The true brilliance of Apple has always been their ability to sell bad products to fund the development of future good products

They're really hating on Vista (As if Macs didn't have issues with the newer MacOSes on older Macs). Just wait for Windows 7. I like how they think everything being made by Apple is a bragging point. Third party accessories are what make gaming PCs.

I love these commercials promomoting I-Life(Photos,Movies,music) against a Vanilla terminal PC(hooked booke the mainframe that has all the computing and graphics power

I love how how they never mention Gaming PCs, Audio Studio mixer PCs, or Multimedia PCs that outclasses Apple's specs for much cheaper modular builds🌈⭐😏

I want to hate all of this, but I can't, cause I'm on my 10 year old mac that's running pretty smoothly right now. On Mojave of course... HEY WAITAMINUTE!!!

The thing of it is…in one of those ads Apple is bashing Windows for having to use allow/disallow….and now is the worst offender of that.

It's funny because Macs suck. I play Gwent on Windows and my Wife plays on Mac, but she's constantly having issues playing the game.

This is golden and ironic at the same time. Funny how after 10+ years, things actually turn the other way around, probably due to the passion of Steve Jobs. The popularity of mac increased hugely due to the fail transition from XP to Vista and Apple took the opportunity and won beautify. That's very unfortunate for MS, because Vista was actually an unfinished product and the finished version was actually Windows 7

I do love these commercials, especially watching them back to back. But honestly, the reality was, and still is, that the Mac never, ever outsold PCs, ever, EVER!
