The greatest musical pop album of all time. As good as any other in terms of musical quality, and thematically without parallel -- a grand tour of existentialism, in under 45 minutes.

An album that can listened to from top to bottom and remain timeless. This is one of the very few albums created that are as historically important as they are artistically. Imagine being a young person today discovering this for the very first time. My oh my. Thank you PF for being a major influence in the making of music becoming one of the best parts of this life.

I grew up Primarily listening to R & B music, it was just what all my peers listened to, I remember going to Tower Records and this was playing. I asked who the hell is that? Pink Floyd, this album opened an entire musical World to me.

"The Dark Side Of The Moon" is transcendent. "Wish You Were Here" is equally powerful, but not as Ethereal. I remember sitting in the living room of the house I grew up, in my mother's chair, in 1975, reading J W Knowles' "A Separate Peace" with Dark Side on the turn-table. Over and over again. There is a moment in that novel in which time stopped for me. Roger Waters in Dark Side captures that loss of innocence and the inevitability of change (and the understanding that the world is not what it seems). The two are timeless.

The Crooked House of Math
The Crooked House of Math - 24.09.2023 13:28

Princes of Hell, Words of God
Men develop drives and ambitions simply because there are more complex entities in the cage with them, unseen vampires, if you will, like Nemesis is the Greek tale, though the women today have ambition, also. They are endlessly striving. They are chasing God or the Devil. It's like something right out of the beginning scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey. This is why there are so many drug addicts. It relieves their labor. Why would a man move? Why would a man move? A suppose, theoretically a being of such infinite complexity could raise the dead. Why not, thus? You can hook up the VLA to an ALTAIR 8080 all you like. It's not the computers I'm worried about. It's the Truvidium in your Tin Man dreams that make me laugh the most.

Pentagrams and Portals
It puzzles me,
These drives. These ambitions.
In infinite complexity.
and words of wisdom.
Chasing Nemesis.
Chasing deer.
Like wolves in crisis.
Without civility and fear.
A resurrection
of deathly seeking.
Beyond the graves
in spiritual keeping.
Calligraphy and gold leaf,
Drawing out notches
or cold stone bas relief.
Chasing lightning.
Chasing fire.
To alleviate the score.
and wrap magnetic wire.

THE GIFT Hands down!! this is , if not the Best the Ultimate !! OF ALL TIME!! TIMELESS & TIME RELEVANT....GROUND_BREAKING...GIGANTIC LEAPS AHEAD .. Hey Im african american I aint supposed to like this music?? I say as politely as I can GO Find urself!! Start with this album because clearly this is what the Ignoid Doctor has prescribed for your exiting the cocoon of b/w and yes open those ears those sound grabbing megaphones and open those eyes yes those 4 katrillion megapixel 10,000 D billion color vision receptors and receive what I always refer to as THE GIFT .... I got on my 18th bday I didnt play it from beginning to end until a year later by mistake, some how it was placed in the sleeve for Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Laser D?? dont ask me how...So I placed it on the Record player ever so gently lowered the needle not even any static feed back I lowered my lights layed on my bed and slipped away........I was raised by two people who understood a balanced exposure is the best recipe for killing ignorance thanks Mom, (R.I.P) My forever Love , You kept us on the cutting edge and balanced Pops Farmboy country boy stubborn ways, from time warping us and music was your cure, I come away from this simple but oh so complex ... so genius.....this is what the brutaliy of war, the crys of the oppressed the silence of missed opprotunity , the awareness of a mind gone mad, heard wailing beyond the cosmos somehow entangled and arranged in a way that makes the unsensible, sensible I get waterey eyes not the kind from listening to Al Green when your GF leaves the Dear John on your pillow...the kind that well up when your soul has been touched by a real truth!!!!! I Self proclaimed #1 Fan born in '73 Great Music Matters!! the killer of Hate ...the lifter of burdened weight... The Infinity Soul Mate. 8 Billion humanoids...did i say ? Yes 8 billion! in my opinion should all hear this at least once in there lifetime in every language and every form of communication.....Yeah its that Good!!! but you dont have to take my word ................ It Speaks..
