Instead of a pointed top, I would make it a rounded end. Much easier for turning. The round button fits right into the top.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI ordered this and got the old one very disapointed !
ОтветитьThank you for this tutorial! I love this towel design. However, I did need to modify it to keep the batting from wadding up. I cut the batting 1/4” longer and brought it down over the seam. After sewing and turning right side out, I topstitched the top of the band to hold the batting down. Works perfectly!
ОтветитьWhere can I purchase a kit? I live in Ontario?
ОтветитьSo cute I love then thank you.
ОтветитьWhere can I get the pattern for the towel? Jane, interested.
Ответитьok but where is the pattern for the topper as she did not say anything about it
ОтветитьI love these. My 52 year old Singer machine would never get through all those layers. Also you wouldn't believe how many levers & knobs I would have to adjust to get a decent buttonhole with trial & error. It's not as easy to make a buttonhole on mine as on the newer machines. I would use Velcro for sure. Great job Jen on this video.
ОтветитьHow long is the buttonhole in inches?
ОтветитьWhere can I get the towels? I have fabric that I have used for other kitchen items and would love to make towels to go with them
ОтветитьI just found this video….can you use SF 101 to help give the topper a bit more stability?
ОтветитьAre youusinga walking foot
ОтветитьLindos seus bate mão amei
ОтветитьThank you for the video, my only hitch I found that I caught myself was directional fabric. I cut wrong and had to seam (I bought a kit) and it's 8" wide and 11" tall for the topper piece, and with directional fabric, put the trim A piece on the bottom of the fabric you are using for the front.
ОтветитьIf you don't want to put in a buttonhole, sew the button on the flap (where you think the button should be when "fastened") and use Velcro on the inside of the flap and base to fasten to the oven handle. 💖🌞🌵😷
ОтветитьAs with all your other tutorials, great job! I love watching you make things! Definitely need to get one of those hot rulers! I had never seen these before! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьDID YOU USE A WALKING FOOT WHEN YOU SEWED THE BATTING ON???
ОтветитьI finally made this kit, following this updated tutorial! I did topstitch at 1/8" around my topper after it was attached to the towel, and also on the top of the topper strip, just a try for another look! I made a buttonhole and button fastening too. It turned out really pretty and easy to sew with your extra tips to follow! I made a plastic template to trace on wadding again. We don't get that towel fabric here in UK, but I have some towels and waffle cotton tea towels to try. Thanks again...and I did buy the hot ruler and love it👏🏻❤️
ОтветитьWhere can you buy rules that you used 😊
ОтветитьLindo 🌻🌻🌻 🇧🇷
ОтветитьVery inspirational thank you so much fantastic video
ОтветитьWhat feder foot are you using? Your fabric is sewing so smoothly . You give awesome tutorials 😊
ОтветитьCan you please give me the measurements of the hanging tag
ОтветитьI love it thank you 😊
ОтветитьI'm going to make this
ОтветитьI also love this pattern. I was confused at first with the topper about do I put the raw edges, but I did fand it was perfect. The only mistake I made was my fabric had a design and one of the was upside down. So I'm thinking next time I should make one upside down and the other piece of fabric the opposite and it should be ok. I love learning and have watched so many of your tutorials. Thank you !
ОтветитьI’ve just placed an order for these, looking forward to this project for gifts. You really do relay the instructions very clear. Have a blessed day. Thank you, 🙋♀️🌷
ОтветитьGot sone kits to make these. Love these
ОтветитьBonjour😂 vous auriez pu traduire en français😢merci
ОтветитьLove the batting as well, gives nice body to the topper.
ОтветитьIs that a walking foot on your machine?
ОтветитьI love this, and ordered the pattern just now, in UK. Thank you for this tutorial to help me understand how to make it!!
ОтветитьLove these!
ОтветитьI would like a pattern for the top of the towel. Do I have to buy a kit for this? Or is there a pattern just for that part?
ОтветитьDo you still have these hangin towels for sale??
ОтветитьWhat was the ruler call when you used it on the bottom trim for the towel. The one that can withstand the heat of the iron
Love this idea. I am going to try it on the terry cloth dish towels
what kind of ruler are you using to press the fabric edge over a half inch?
ОтветитьOk now I need to know which Bernina that is please
Ответитьwhat iron is that please?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing, good for Xmas gift.
ОтветитьBrava
ОтветитьOh!!! Is beautiful...Thanks
ОтветитьDo your kits come complete with all the materials and fabric to complete these towels?
ОтветитьI really appreciate your videos since I’m a visual person and struggle with pattern reading!
ОтветитьThank you for the video, but measurement is not mentioned, if we don't have the kit,how can I take the measurements
ОтветитьGood tips! Thank you!
