Once I started referring to my wife (among other things such as) my gift from God, I don't think she would care if I never called her by her name again

Men stop being the boss of the house be the head of the house. Be an example, pray with her and for the family. Spend more quality time with her not your friends or golf friend. Speak with respect to her and stop drinking and stop bad language out of respect for her. Go to church with her and plan a roadtrip with her .

There's no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship; they're all unique. What makes one person happy might not make another person happy. But I've learned that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years back, my wife and I were almost divorcing because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to work things out. It was a hard time, but we got past it.

Well as for me i give up

Encourage her spiritual journey…her alone time with God and time with God together should be added to this list.

Asking her about her day and about her quiet time is another one.

I believe a husband is influenced by the people he spends time with. My husband is a recovering alcoholic. He goes to twice a week AA meetings. God is part of each of the AA steps to recovery. Before AA he didn’t believe in God. Thanks to AA meetings and following their principles he now believes in God. I believe good can oftentimes come through adversity. Had my husband not been an alcoholic, had he not gone to AA , he would still not believe in God. Our marriage went through terrible experiences. I believe God wanted me to not leave my husband. God used who I am as a person to achieve what he wanted me to do. The fact is I couldn’t leave even if I wanted to. For reasons I’m not knowing I couldn’t leave my husband. My mother thought I was weak. Was she right ? Perhaps God used my weakness to keep me with my husband. I was scared to be without him. Our whole adult life we had been married. We had two daughters together. My one daughter says “ Mom you’re loyal. Loyal like a dog. “ She meant that in a good way. Perhaps I’m loyal without thinking about it. I love your sermons. You have helped me to understand Jesus in ways I never had before. You’re a true blessing on this Earth.

Wow, I am divorced but I did not get shown love. My mother said after Our divorce he married me because I had it going on and I was a showpiece.

No, don't buy her flowers if she isn't the type who likes having flowers brought for her. If money is a bit tight, the last thing I'd be wanting is my husband buying flowers. I am a wife and I laughted at how well is described what we need. Many of the things the pastor mentioned are things they I told my husband over and over again. I'll share this video with him, maybe this will help him understand better.

Me and my wife has been listening to all these marriage teachings and are marriage did a 180 for good. This was a God sent.

I may simply be projecting, but I feel top of my list would be saving your sexual energy and attention for your wife. We as women understand lust is likely the biggest way satan tempts men. When a husband can reject that temptation and put all his sexual energy and attention on his wife… no words can describe how good that kind of love, dedication, and respect must feel.

Taking the garbage out. I knew a woman who just started being the one to take the garbage out instead of her husband. When I asked why the change she said he would avoid doing it until the house started stinking and one time he left out the garbage near the front door rather than finishing the job and some animal got into it making a huge mess. So she now does it. When I asked why she doesn't just ask him, she said she used to, but he always gave a reaction that he didn't like it and wouldn't do it immediately even if the house was beginning to smell. And it would get to the point that the house would smell so bad it would embarrass her to have guests over. Yes he would eventually do it but often not until days after she asked him. So she says she just no longer asks him. Thenpoor women used to not be physically ablw to do things and she expressed gratitude that she no longer needs to wait on her husband to do it, but when I asked what will happen when you no longer can do it she said she would tell her husband she will hire someone else to do it if he doesn't do it by a certain time.

This is pathetic the video you have directed towards women is about respect for their husbands. But this is the best you can do when it comes down to men and their wives. Where is the sections about respect. Why are you not talking about respecting your wife only about doing little dumb things??

My husband is such a wonderful husband and I couldn't ask for a better spouse, he's my life long everything after God, nothing comes before the Father.

My husband wasn’t hanging out with single guys, instead hanging out with single women who got married but he continued hanging out with them and they became possessive of him. So don’t hang out with women either

My wife hates me because of me..She will never love me like before..we got separated for a year and we’re back together for me to feel like we’re more apart..I even got a dog that helps a lot.I just go fishing now because she doesn’t have to see me any more than she has too..i hope some
guy can make her happy and sweep her from me..That would make me happy to see her happy even if it’s not with me anymore..it is what it is..

These are great points and so hard to find. Men want women for sex but past that they dont want women to be women. Like the photo example. We are women just like a man should go hunting if he chooses. But no men squash our girliness and causes us to be small. I think that is what this uprising is all about. I do t need a man. Surprise her with a snack or treat she likes. It allows them to know you were thinking of them.
