Yeah I have to call BS on this one.
I was also in a toxic and violent relationship and I believe either:
1. Gabby got upset about something and she started hitting him and he snapped and strangled her. WHICH IS NOT SELF DEFENSE.
OR
2. Gabby decided to break off the engagement and he strangled her.
EITHER WAY 2ND DEGREE MURDER.

But Brian went month longer and not at that moment he killed her, so it sounds like he was trying to get away with it but the walls were closing in on him.

Sorry this young lady protected her killer from accountability. When they ran into the cops, she admitted to hitting him first. So it was considered mutual combat they separated them the cops did their job. The young lady, went back to her so called abuser. And he ended up killing her she pretty much put herself in a danger situation. Her ignorance and naivety is pretty much what sealed her fate. If the man was a minority they would have thrown him in jail regardless of who hit who first. The police tried to protect her, she was too close to the situation. Despite having loving friends and family she chose wrong.

How convenient was that? He left that letter where it would be found and used it as a way to push his narrative claiming he killed her to put her out of her misery and paint himself as a reluctant hero. He knew full well that by planting the letter he would be the only source of information that couldn't be challenged because the only two people that knew the truth would be long since dead by the time it was discovered. I think that bastard managed to get away. There was no proper investigation, the tests were not accurate, the parents were still at large. How is it that the parents were not accused of covering up the killer? This letter only proves how much he wants to whiten his skin, and so that everyone considers him dead. I really don't think that Brian Laundrie
is a healthy person. I'm beginning to think he has a mental health condition which led him to abuse his partner, and at the same time think that he was helping her out.
