Brandon, really thinking of starting to look at the AI to use on for my hardware. I think I am starting with the Acurast for my cell phones first, and then I will start building out my Rig and test this out. Thanks for doing this it came at the right time as I think everyone is hoping to be able to hold on to their hardware and make something from it now. My 7950x3d + 3090 is doing well. I also got a gift card from them to make sure it was real and received it in seconds.

Over 30 minutes in before brandon drops some pretty important knowledge for those of us who have never done AI rigs. At the current time, it seems the GPU's required must be Nvidia.

I was kinda excited to share this video with a buddy of mine who's got a nice system with a 7900XT and I was thinking he'd get some really good jobs with 20GB of VRAM. Apparently not on Salad (or Vast, etc). It's pretty unfortunate. Lots of underutilized hardware out there.

But, of course, there is always traditional crypto mining with AMD. The 7900XT is pretty power hungry, though, and for crypto mining...depending on your electric rate...it's not a whole lot of profit unless you're spec mining the right stuff and going for future gains (as brandon points out at the end as well).

My 3070 8 GB makes 1.79 a day as long i dont use my PC! Made a $5 paypal gift card in 2.5 days, I'm happy and will put 2x 3070s in system. so add 1 more 3070 and see what happens. and I might install Windows ( I ask why not linux They replied Windows only, SUX) So now have to install windows on my mining rig on x1 with 4 3070s on raisers and see what i would earn on raisers

You should look into Nosana. They are in preprod phase still and are growing at a ridiculous rate. Making around $12-$20/day with a 3090

you know i went into log file and it says TREX and in there says KAWPAW. i assumed using an overclock would help not hinder. i have just treated it like a miner lol. like i said im using salad on a rig but i don't really know how to use it lmao. depending on price im not sure if it's best shifting my now turned off 3060 rigs over to salad. got like 15 zotac 3060 12gb. im UK so power cost and stuff is different to the US. with power 70% fan 70% core 0% mem 883 it makes $1.82 with lower power. stock it makes $1.89 with higher power. im just going from the results

what do you mount your MBs on? The box it comes in? How do you get windows 10 to load on a NVME drive? How do you remote into the AI mining rigs? Why am I asking this? I am a crypto miner running mining rigs on hiveos. I have never used Windows 10 for such work. Thanks!

An argument could be made that if you earn more in less time but at max power, the gpu will deteriorate more quickly, whereas mining we can keep that baby running super cool and efficient

I did try salad on my new 4060 8GB with i5-13500 32G ddr5 and 1tb nvme and after 24 hours i get 2.25$ but next day it was only 0.53$ And same as you i have cheap x99 with xeon 16 gb ddr4 paired with gtx 750 i bought in 2019 for ultra budget gaming. Not sure if i should get 3060 to make it usable again.
