Excellent review Sam. I have a "standard" roughing gouge but I may have to consider this one. It's very impressive. I like the Robust collet system too. It's something else for me to consider. Last I have been agonizing on a method for tool storage. Yours looks good to me. I understand the warning about the cutting edges being exposed. Have you ever had a problem with that? I recently received their large spear point scraper and my handle blank is on the lathe for my fourth collet handle. I suppose I should set aside my milk money to pick up one of the spindle roughing gouges. The rest of my Robust tools are fantastic works of art.

I think that everything Brent English puts out brings in gold...they are great tools!
