She is probably the only chef I see who never wastes a single item! I'm impressed!! Have a lot to learn from her :)
ОтветитьDo you get your veggies at a special shop that they're so cheap??
Ответить5 star restaurant? Nah..I’m going to June’s for dinner.
ОтветитьP
ОтветитьSour cream, 2 months past its expiration date, is NOT "still good". No wonder the chilequiles "did a number" on you through the night.
ОтветитьI have to pay for 3€+ for a sweet potato
ОтветитьJune: entire paragraphs of her observations on salmon oil
Aaron: dousing his meal with gochugaru in the background
Hmm nice but why are you always bullying and talking down to your guy?
ОтветитьI’m waiting one day for this guy to say..”this tastes like $heet”
ОтветитьInstead of cooking all the salmon at once, why wouldn’t you just freeze some of it raw?
ОтветитьI'm so fascinated. Seeing your food culture and the most resourceful use of every morsel. I love it!!
ОтветитьAaron you should try being grateful and avoid finding faults.... if you look for faults you will sure find them
ОтветитьYour partner is such a fault finder
ОтветитьPOV: you just watched the pantry cleanout video where she finally used the last of that miso
ОтветитьAs an Indian, happy to see an Indian inspired dish. Also, fantastic pronunciation! That word has a hard letter in it (the “r” sound). Much respect! Cheers!
ОтветитьVery creative !
ОтветитьJune love watching you and all the team at Delish. I know how you love to use as much of the product you are cooking with. Next time you cook with butternut squash keep the skin on. This probably only works if you are cooking with water. The skin on the butternut squash just softens and adds a little texture to the squash. Love your artistic results to your amazing concoctions you cook up. My cat, Freckles loves to watch Fred. Your idea to grind up the treats was an ingenious idea. She loves it. Keep on brainstorming. Sorry about the loss of your mother. I would love to see more of grandmother and her ratings. I am a New Yorker that moved to Colorado in 1991. Had the first food truck in Colorado Springs featuring Knishes. Hot dogs w/ red onion sauce and Brooklyn Egg Creams. I am 78 and retired but am still cooking everything New York style including pizza . I worked for 20 years for a Chinese restaurant on long island and was blessed to eat at the round prep table for real Chinese food at dinner. My body lives in Colorado but my heart and soul will always belong to New York. My love to everyone at Delish for their hard and demanding work behind the scenes to keep us Foodies happy. Hugs to you, Aaron and Fred
ОтветитьYou pronounced khichdi correctly 💞 This is considered a comfort food dish in India. You make it is someone is not to well, you need some TLC, or don't have time to cook. A complete wholesome meal. Many make it in a pressure cooker which preps it in 5 minutes or less 🥰
Ответитьwheat is also great for soups etc. You can use them with other stuff like beans, lentils and chickpeas. The main reason as to why they say dont rinse to the product is that they are very starchy and binds the meal altogether. It is something used frequently in turkish cousine.
ОтветитьJicama can be eaten raw most add lemon and salt and sometimes lucas if you feel the plain fruit isn’t for you
ОтветитьHair looks great!
ОтветитьHow can you tell what mold would be more harmful then others.
ОтветитьButternut squash skin is edible. It's just tough so would need treating very differently to the flesh (long stewing, or soups, or stocks, etc.)
ОтветитьNever heard of jicama before! Haven't seen it in England. A kinda potato-pear-radish, sounds good. I would like to be there experimenting with ways to cook it with somebody like June!
ОтветитьUmmm wheat has rice 😂 the Indians are confused here I guess because we make flour out of it to make roti and that's y it says don't wash before using
Anyways no hate for using it as a rice it's a new idea I guess
Great show, the chewing with the mouth open and the talking while chewing loudly right in front of the camera a throw off. Can't keep watching.
ОтветитьLove how he dosent take the hicama he just eats from her hand
ОтветитьI love her creativity! so impressed.
ОтветитьJust found your videos and binge watching them, I have to admit, I did wonder why you were calling them meatballs, falafel are always a bit of dry so would have managed expectations by renaming them. You have inspired me to use up the dried goods filling up my pantry, thank you
Ответитьi come to complain about how i don't like what you cook, but you reminded me that you are a real person not just a screen character.
ОтветитьWash your fish with lemon juice don't just fry it out of the bag.
Eww
I need to know where the heck she shops cuz that looks like more than 20 bucks to me
ОтветитьI love your creativity June and your transparency. Very good budget eats episode.
ОтветитьI love Aaron and Jun
ОтветитьMost likely the polished wheat berries are fortified with certain vitamines which wash straight off when you wash the "rice" :) so maybe next time don't rinse!
ОтветитьFor me that fish taco sounds very much great! That recipe needs a bit fix and then definitely will be delicious. Some recipe are like first crepe or pancake, but second ones are always perfect😉
Ответитьwhere did you get those salmon scraps…
ОтветитьOk I don't think I am shopping at the right place
ОтветитьWhy uncle roger still did not to this chanel
Ответитьah but how much for the condiments?
ОтветитьAaron needs to stop talking and just go away.
Ответитьpeople need to chill with their vitriol for Aaron because it's like, you're not June, you can't decide for her whether or not she needs to leave him :/ y'all need to stay in your lane
ОтветитьHer nose is running when eating the chilaquiles
ОтветитьDidn’t regret watching this video the whole way through. Omg In love with how she’s so creative with her ingredients. Her personality makes it 100x better too I just can’t stop watching
Ответитьzoom out more
ОтветитьSince when was food so cheap, amazing job cooking
ОтветитьThis video didn't age well with the social distancing ;)
ОтветитьOkay I’m so glad I saw this because I too have expired miso that I still use. I was thinking the same thing it’s fermented 🤷🏾♀️
